I am very new to this. I've read that the stitching should be even. On the fourth picture, when you zoom in, the stitching on the front of the bag doesn't seem even. Is this normal? I'm interested in this purse, and not accusing anyone, just trying to learn what to look for and so on. Also, I don't know how to check the numbers on these purses. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I know almost NOTHING about authenticating ANY good purse. Again, thank you.
The bag is authentic and Coach isn't perfect!

I'm sure whichever authenticity guide it was that you read about Coach's perfection probably also stated that authentic Coach should have ykk zippers, Cs are never cut, all patterns should match, etc.

99.9% of the guides on the internet (all brands) are unreliable.

Ok, thank you so much whateve, would you be able to tell me what style it might be? Or around when it might have been made? Ive seen styles that look just like this but different colors and it said madison op art, would that be correct on this one? Thank yoy again

Hi, my boyfriend bought me this wristlet from a friend, he was told it is real, ive looked on a bunch of different sites to see how i could tell if it is or not. But a lot of the things the sites said about real ones mine has. This is the first time ive had anything coach, real or fake, so if you could please let me know it would be greatly appreciated.

It looks fine. I can't tell for sure but it looks like it might have faded. We don't need to see the brand of zipper. Be careful at looking at sites that help you self-authenticate since some have incorrect information, such as the YKK zipper "rule."
It's an Amanda op art wristlet but I don't know a style number.

I purchased this awhile ago on eBay & want to be sure that it's a genuine Worth Bucket. I emailed myself creed pictures & tried & tried to load 2 different pictures, but they always fail to load. Not sure if you can see the creed in the seller's picture well enough to authenticate. It's G6C-4143

Wow, that's a great deal! The skinny case alone usually sells for more than that! I think everything looks authentic. I can't see the top part of the creed but the number font looks good.

I got stuck with a fake in that style too, when I first started buying Coaches on Ebay. It was such a pretty periwinkle color but the leather looked dull and felt stiff, and I didn't realize until years later that it had a fake serial number too. That style has been faked a LOT.

But this one seems ok. "Characteristic" is spelled correctly, the serial number font is correct, and that color called Aqua was a Spring 1997 color.
I just wanted to comment that the seller obviously played around with the "tinting" on that bag in some of the photos. You can tell because the background colors (wall and tablecloth) get noticeably deeper in some of the pics.
That color does not photograph well. I know because I have a SOnoma in this shade (I think it might be the SEA color, but could be AQUA as you say), and it photographs kind of grayish, so it's tempting to adjust it by playing with the shading.
Probably the Sonomas had a different color list though!
The real color is probably more like the 3rd,4th and second to last pics.

The Classics did have a different color selection than the Sonomas. The shades could sometimes be close but except for basics like white weren't the same colors or given the same color names. The inside of the Canteen Bag in that listing definitely looks like a different color than the outside but like you said, colors can be tweaked or affected by room lighting and camera settings. Often with those light greens and blues you might not know what color you're actually buying until you open the package.

The color samples I posted at the Reference Thread a few years ago shows the differences, 1996 is the most recent one I had in my files. And those colors aren't always accurate either.

I know every time (with a couple of exceptions) I get a really pretty pastel color it is a fake!
But when you get real one, like you said, they are gorgeous!~
