Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number.   • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

The nasty listing and all her other listings mentioning replica, misspelled brand names on purpose, etc.. are also gone. PM did their job.
"IF" she actually sold that bag, was not on PM. You still were able to buy it, she just added the word SOLD to the title.

Now she has a bag that mentions to be listed at another site and buyers can get cheaper there, another rule broken.

It's genuine, from maybe 10 or 12 years ago. It's a small pin, like a lapel pin. I don't have a style number for it.

I got stuck with a fake in that style too, when I first started buying Coaches on Ebay. It was such a pretty periwinkle color but the leather looked dull and felt stiff, and I didn't realize until years later that it had a fake serial number too. That style has been faked a LOT.

But this one seems ok. "Characteristic" is spelled correctly, the serial number font is correct, and that color called Aqua was a Spring 1997 color.

Style 4366 and it was called Butterfly push pin.

LOL! I was given some bags to sell and suspected an indentical color and style as being fake. I posted it last week.

The creed in the listing you posted is completely different from mine:

There's a Spring 1997 color called Lime too but the one in the listing looks more like Aqua. The pic below shows both. The Aqua in this particular catalog pic is actually deeper in color than most of the other ones of that color in that catalog. IRL I think it's lighter too.

The creed and serial match the other C plant photos in my files.

It's a cute bag when you can actually manage to find a genuine one.

I know this one's often copied, so thanks for the OK. I have a couple others I purchased on eBay that I'll dig out to authenticate some day. I could not clearly read all the letters in some of the words on this bag, so thanks again! :D

WOW, this crazy person, vak1, needs to be shut down for good. It's amazing that PM would allow her on their site at all with all the language, name calling & insults. PM appears to not have any integrity or class with sellers like her allowed; let alone the fakes she sells. ALSO, why does she have pictures of her daughters listed w/ Not For Sale; are they already sold?! :giggles:
