I have another one for today. This creed has the “J8Y” prefix, but it’s not done in the Arial Narrow style font I’ve seen posted on this forum previously. I know the only absolute rule about vintage Coach is that there are no absolute rules.
What are your thoughts, please?

Item: Willis bag

Please DON'T apply the "No absolute Rules" Rule to fake serial numbers! When we say, or the Daria48 Fake Coach Serial Numbers List says without any more recent posted corrections in the Daria48 List part of the Salearea Guides thread here at tPF that a certain serial number or serial prefix is Always Fake, you would do well to believe it.

And just to get REALLY nit-picky, fake Coaches are NOT bound by Rules that apply to genuine Coaches! :graucho:

And there ARE absolute rules -
COACH HANDBAGS, BACKPACKS, WALLETS AND BRIEFCASES WERE NEVER MADE IN KOREA.

Plus 3 or 4 others.

Can you please post a photo of the BACK of the bag? There are several similar styles from the early 1990s and we need to see if there's a belt loop and how the strap attaches. Read the READ ME post st the top of each page for a list of the photo details needed, at the moment I only need a photo of the back. Thank you.
Here are photos of the back. Thank you

Here are photos of the back. Thank you

That's a really HUGE help, thanks!

It's a genuine Everett Bag, style 9934. It was introduced late in 1993 so it could only have been made with the type of serial number it has in late 1993 or very early in 1994.

From the Holiday 1993 catalog:

I hope this bag is authentic, because I bought it and it's SO BEAUTIFUL. I mean, pristine. Like it was hardly used. Has two of the "Please register your new Coach - it's Important" cards in it, as well as a very cool illustrated 22 page booklet entitled "American Classics in Leather-Coach" published in 1992. https://shopgoodwill.com/item/136434347 M5M-9790

When I started my Coach collecting "thing," I thought some would be for me, some would be to share with friends/family, some would be for rehab & resale. This one's for me. Does have some what looks like mold spots on the front. I can fix that.

PS: If anyone would like me to scan and share the booklet, I can do that. Which forum thread would it go in? Or, is it already in here somewhere.

Would you please authenticate this bag I purchased at the estate sale? It's about 11.5" x 10" x 4"

Hello there! Hope that I have all my ducks in a row.
I found this bag at an estate sale last week. Potentially my first pre-creed bag! Thanks so much for giving it a look.

Genuine, it looks like a Watermelon Satchel from the 1970s, style 9441, but I'm not an expert in pre-creed items. If I'm wrong I hope @whateve or someone else with her level of knowledge will correct me.

It's a genuine City Bag from 1995.

I can't answer your questions about the booklet, it depends whether or not the information is already posted here. You can check at the Vintage Catalog Scans thread to see if any of it is new information.

The Vintage Photos and Chat thread would be the place to ask.

Hi would you please authenticate this adorable little guy I received from my aunt? It's about 9"x 11" x 4.25" thank you

Thank you!!! The bag had a "legit" feel to it.  The booklet is more an advertising piece with the story of Coach rather than a catalog. I'll check the vintage photos and chat to see if it's already there.
