Please follow the following requests:

Wrong font for the C plant, and not even close to the style number for a Taft. THIS is a style 4920:

Hi found this Coach at savers — something is telling it’s fake. What do you think ?

It's probably OK. The M plant code was a floater and there are variations in their serial numbers because different plants could be using different creed stamps. Other than a slightly unusual serial stamping I'm not seeing any problems.

Coach Number N9G-9061. As stated on the Coach Creed label: Handcrafted in the United States. Brown leather. One exterior slip pocket in the front that is hidden under the flap enclosure. One exterior slip pocket in the back.

FAKE.

The serial number has an invalid plant code, and I'm seeing indentations on the back of the turnlock. The binding or piping on the bag doesn't really match the bag's color, and that wasn't a feature of any Rambler's Legacy.

I was listing this purse on behalf of someone I knew, but someone messaged me via eBay saying it was a counterfeit and eBay took the listing down.

I don't know about Coach, but brief reading doesn't make anything stand out. As far as I know, this person bought it at a thrift store years ago. I don't want to sell someone a fake and risk my account. I also don't want to miss out if it is genuine.

Thank you for listing the issues. It’s no longer listed so I can’t go back to look. I had noticed the plant code but didn’t see the other issues. Thanks again.

Unfortunately the counterfeits are really really good. I have myself physically cut up two counterfeit bags That I purchased without checking here First. The other thing you can do is cut out the flap with the creed and use the bag yourself. Just don’t sell it as coach.
