• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

Sorry, it's fake. The plant code shown in the serial number is "R", which hasn't been used as a plant code for any plant in the USA except for a handful of possibly genuine items in 1995, 1996 and 1997, and in the year 2000 which is the year code in the purse that code was only used for a plant in Thailand making only items from the Travel Collection. Here's a genuine creed from the "R" plant in Thailand in 2000 made for a Signature fabric Large Travel Satchel. Click on the thumbnails to enlarge:

Thanks Hyacinth. I was afraid of that. It looks so good, but there was also the grooves in the backplate on the hardware, so I was suspicious.

Always ask sellers of lot listings for pictures, at the very least, request creed photos. This listing had nothing in the way of good pictures.

They SHOULD give you the shivers. Genuine Coaches should never have just 3 letters of the alphabet as a serial number prefix. "BEC-" isn't valid. Also, the serial font is much too large and thick.
