Thank you for letting me know, but I am just curious because I don't know purses. What makes it fake? It look real.

Not to someone who's familiar with Coach.

There are what we call "elephant-skin" stretch marks on several panels of the leather, in places where the leather shouldn't have been stretched. Those are signs of overprocessing, fakes makers apparently over-stretch the leather to make it softer and more flexible like a genuine Coach bag's more expensive leather, but doing that damages the leather permanently and leaves those parallel stretch marks. And the serial number is a known fake that belongs ONLY to a completely different style.

Please don't sell or donate the bag. Fakes should either be repurposed, used until they fall apart, or destroyed. Selling or donating them just keeps them in circulation and makes it very likely that someone along the way will lose their hard-earned money by buying what they believed was a genuine Coach from a private seller or a thrift store or non-profit.

Telling a real Coach from a fake often depends on details like incorrect fonts used in the creed stamp or serial number, date codes that don't match when the bag was actually made, style numbers that don't match the style, and many other details that can't be spotted just by looking at the bag. Coaches should always be authenticated here before buying or selling, especially pre-owned Coaches. Many people think that older Coaches weren't counterfeited, but that's not true at all.

Both are fine. One was made in 1999 in Mexico and the other in 2001 in the US.

The legacy zip is closely faked so it's always good to check.

Okay, I figured I would scale down my original post!!
Just purchased this Dopp kit… and while I should have checked BEFORE I bought it… Alas, I did not. I see the little “bullseye” indicating what I believe to be an “outlet bag”.
Could you please let me know what you think?

Thank you!!!
