Both of the Large cabin Bags are genuine, and so is the travel kit. Your Poshmark seller has already mentioned the Lexus collaboration with Coach in the mid-1990s, but I thought you might want to see the original catalog page for the package from 1996. There were several other packages available in the US and Canada between 1996 and 2001 with slightly different details, colors, Lexus equipment and Cabin Bag configurations, but the "L" at the end of the serial number indicates one of the special Lexus bags.

ETA - As I said in the earlier post, the travel kit bag is genuine. But please don't ever depend on that outlet mark proving a Coach is genuine. We've seen outlet stamps, both real and obvious fakes, in fake bags before. Any kind of stamp INCLUDING serial number and creed stamps a maker like Coach can make, a counterfeiter can copy.

Comments: wondering if this is authentic? thank you

The 9966 Legacy Zip is genuine, made in 1996. It's impossible to authenticate the smaller cosmetic case, we've seen fakes of that style and some of the fakes even have creeds, with or without serial numbers. It was a very easy style to copy

Outstanding!! Thank you so very much!

I don't generally comment on Poshmark listings (for searchable reasons) but wanted to comment on this one in case a buyer has an aversion to buying items made with genuine skins.

Though the larinata describes the fur as "faux," it's actually genuine shearling (as accurately described on the creed) which is the skin of a sheep with the wool fur left on it.

Could you please authenticate this Coach bag?

found on ebay
Seller: bergamotgeneralstore

But is the patch real that’s what I’m curious

If it were fake, she would have said so. The bag is authentic.
