BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Hi I received this as a gift from a friend who went to a flea market but I think it's a fake. the Creed reminds me of those fakes with the N in the Creed's I see sometimes. Would you please authenticate this bag? It's about 11" x 9" x 4.5"

Your instincts are correct, this one is fake. The serial number and creed stampings both have problems.

It's not a valid month code.

The bag it's on would be fake. I've seen quite a few W7B fakes, all with 9927 style numbers and all trying to copy Willises.

Is that lovely example of the counterfeiters' art still listed for sale somewhere, or are you the unfortunate owner? We need the website, URL and seller's name so it can be reported and removed.

Really just being a smartass. It’s a Facebook marketplace posting. The seller was a little cagey about sending pictures. Knew it was wrong as soon as I saw it.

Can you report Facebook listings?

You can report but I've never had much luck getting Facebook to act.

To report, on the right side of the page, on the "message" line, right side has 3 dots. Click the dots and a drop-down shows where you can report or hide the listing.
