Good afternoon!
Curious to know if this bag on Etsy is authentic. I'm not buying it, but have not seen this style. This shop seems to have a wealth of older Coach bags, many of them kisslocks. For anyone checking her shop, note the "Entrupy" reference in the shop header.

All I can think of when I see something like Entrupy is think, but is it real, baby? Actually I will be going by a consignment store shorty and they have on the window that they us Entrupy.

I received this bag today, and I'm not sure about it. Really muddy looking creed. And strange striped lining. I got it here. https://shopgoodwill.com/item/132777180 Measures about: 10.5 inches long by 9 inches high by 4 inches across the bottom. Please and thank you for your expert opinion on whether or not this bag is legit. PS: I got the purple suede one in the listing, too, and I think it is legit. Looks fantabulous! Does that one look real to you guys, too?

Hello,
Can you please authenticate this rambler bag I won at Goodwill South Florida Store?

Thank you so much!

Genuine, from 1999. The correct name is "Rambler's Legacy". "Rambler" is the official name of a slightly similar but older and much larger bag that was the inspiration for this one. The Rambler's Legacy style 9061 wasn't introduced until the late 1990s, The Rambler has a long leather tab on the turnlock assembly, the Legacy doesn't. And note the difference in the measurements:

Style 9735 Rambler Bag from a 1986 catalog:

style 9061 Rambler's Legacy from the Fall 1999 catalog:

Here's another question mark. This tiny (and adorable) little bag has a creed stamp but no serial number. No tags at all. Not a "made in" tag. Nothing. And yes, I pulled out the lining and looked carefully. Something off about the feel of the fabric in the lining as well. Legit Coach bag? Thank you for your help! Measures about 8 inches by 5 inches by 2 inches. I got it on shopgoodwill.com. https://shopgoodwill.com/item/132573763 PS: I notice in Goodwill's listing that in their photo of the creed you could NOT see that there is no serial number. I think intentional.

The first one is fake. "R" is NEVER a valid Coach month code, "X" was not a valid plant code ETA at least not any US plant, several of the zipper pulls are wrong. The creed stamp is almost unreadable but we can still see that it doesn't have the correct wording for a bag from the Sonoma line, which is what this is copying. Get your money back.

ETA -The purple bag is a genuine Soho Suede Shoulder Flap made in 2005.

Genuine, but I don't know the name, made in the early 2000s

It's authentic. Here's a catalog picture.

The seller has a long history of acquiring very rare styles and selling them at top prices. Her collection is breathtaking. It makes you wonder what bags she is keeping for herself.

Thank you. I will get my money back.

BTW, I've corrected my original answer to read "X" was not a valid plant code ETA at least not any US plant,.. " since X was a valid code for the Dominican Republic and may have been used as a temporary "floater" plant code for a handful of styles apparently made in an unknown US plantnear the end of the 1990s but not until after the Sonoma line had been discontinued. The bag is still fake.
