The seller has a long history of acquiring very rare styles and selling them at top prices. Her collection is breathtaking. It makes you wonder what bags she is keeping for herself.

I received this bag today, and I'm not sure about it. Really muddy looking creed. And strange striped lining. I got it here. https://shopgoodwill.com/item/132777180 Measures about: 10.5 inches long by 9 inches high by 4 inches across the bottom. Please and thank you for your expert opinion on whether or not this bag is legit. PS: I got the purple suede one in the listing, too, and I think it is legit. Looks fantabulous! Does that one look real to you guys, too?

The first one is fake. "R" is NEVER a valid Coach month code, "X" was not a valid plant code ETA at least not any US plant, several of the zipper pulls are wrong. The creed stamp is almost unreadable but we can still see that it doesn't have the correct wording for a bag from the Sonoma line, which is what this is copying. Get your money back.

ETA -The purple bag is a genuine Soho Suede Shoulder Flap made in 2005.

The suede bag is called SOHO SUEDE SHOULDER FLAP. I believe your bag is blush.

Genuine, from 1999. The correct name is "Rambler's Legacy". "Rambler" is the official name of a slightly similar but older and much larger bag that was the inspiration for this one. The Rambler's Legacy style 9061 wasn't introduced until the late 1990s, The Rambler has a long leather tab on the turnlock assembly, the Legacy doesn't. And note the difference in the measurements:

Authentic, made in 2002.

Seller has it listed as 1980s which is wrong!

ETA: Yikes! MeeshsMercantile doesn't have a clue about the ages of the items. Some are off by 30 years! (Bags made in 2000 are described as 70s.)

Wallets can be hard to authenticate because there aren't that many details to be copied but what I see looks good.

Both look fine but I don't know style numbers.

The first looks like it's from the same period as the pouch that ConnieinSeattle has and the second does look like it's from the same collection as the bag you showed.
