There are a LOT more problems with that fake besides just the stitching.

Even the description in the listing title is wrong! Bonnie Cashin had nothing to do with it and even if it was real it wouldn't be a "Bonnie Cashin", it's 20 years too recent. Or it would be if the bag was genuine and the date codes were accurate.

If it doesn’t trouble you, is there anything else that gives it away that it’s a fake? This would be a great help to my case.

Hi! I'm new to purchasing vintage Coach and this is my first post here. Please let me know if I am missing any information! Thanks in advance for your help :)

Howdy Authenticators,
This was an interesting find. I had no idea that Coach made this type of briefcase (1990s or early 2000s?) and it is still a rarity in the used market. After doing a search online for more info, it appears all were made in Italy only, unless my search was not thorough enough. I trust that this one is genuine unless it’s a really good fake. Thanks for checking it out.

Wondering if I can get help authenticating this bag as well:

Comments: Purchased this on Poshmark and after reading through some forums I'm worried that it's a fake bc the creed wording deviates from the standards that I've seen. Can anyone weigh in and let me know if this is a fake or authentic? Not sure if there is anything I can do to remedy this unfortunately but it would be nice to at least know. Thanks!

Hi Can anyone tell me anything about this purse? Seller indicates there is no creed patch.

Seller mary mullarkey

Would someone be willing to authenticate this bag for me.
It is heavy duty canvas with piping/bottom in leather.
I purchased it at a local estate sale.
I've looked everywhere I can think of to find out if this bag is genuine Coach.
Rivets on the strap have branding along with the buckle and the magnetic section
There is no white tag inside
Measurements are 14x13x4 with an adjustable leather/webbing strap.
The last picture shows a line of letter/numbers and a price written in some
sort of marker inside the interior zippered pocket.
Let me know if you need further pics
And thank you so much!

I can't read the creed at all but I'm not comfortable with some of the details.

If you can get a much clearer picture of the creed, that might help.

Dear BeenBurned,

Sorry about that. Now that I'm looking at it I realize it is even hard to read in person. Tried to take the photo again, pls. See below.

Thank you!

Welcome! It's an authentic Willis bag made in 1994. Visit our rehab club for suggestions on how to fix it up. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/coach-rehab-and-rescue-club.833400/

I don't have the style in my files but it looks authentic, made in 1998.

I don't have this style in my files either but it appears authentic, made in 1996.

If authentic, there shouldn't be a creed patch. I'd like to see the lining and the made in tag. It's a super small bag. If authentic, the style number would be 48038 and would have been made around 2012.
