Hi Authenticators,

FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ONLINE:
Item: Bucket? I’m hitting a dead end with information for this bag...
Where purchased or how obtained: Red, White & Blue
Comments: Late eighties? Is that correct?

Thank you!
I have a comment about the hang tag. I have one that looks similar with rough texture on the back, however there are two pieces there which have separated and need gluing. I think you have 1/2 of a hang tag.

Older hangtags were one sided. It is possible that she has the complete hangtag that originally came with the bag.

I'm self-authenticating today (and really showing off my score!). I found these three in a thrift store for $15 each. Snatched them up!! I'm sharing "after the bath" photos. One brown, one black, one navy. All beautiful condition. I haven't done anything at all to any of them (yet)View attachment 5102599View attachment 5102600View attachment 5102601 except give them a bath.
If you don't need an authentication, you should post these in the vintage chat thread instead.

Hello. I was wondering if someone could please authenticate this bag for me.

Item: Brooklyn Carryall 28

Seller and site: RubyCrystal on Tokopedia ( https://tokopedia.link/8Ca3IvlTPgb )

Comments: the seller said this bag was bought in the US, coach retail store. I asked for creed and made in tags pictures but I’m confused whether it’s authentic or not bcs the difference between serial number on price tag (F56839) and the creed (56839, without F)

BUMP

I don't see any problems with the bag. Other opinions are welcome.

Sometimes when a boutique bag is sent to the outlet, they will make a new tag at the outlet with an "F" style number. Usually they also stamp the creed indicating it was sent to the outlet, something I don't see on this bag but it's possible Coach may have altered the way it does that.

Nice score! But I am curious as to why you choose to self-authenticate? I've been buying and rehabbing coach bags for about a decade and I still always ask the expert authenticators here on TPF for their opinions. I've been fooled a few times and I sure wouldn't want to invest a lot of time and effort into rehabbing a fake!

I was kind of joking! :) The point I was trying to make: quality shines, and there was ZERO doubt in my mind that these are authentic. Everything about them. So, so beautiful. I'm new to this forum and to the idea of Coach Rehab (which is where I should have posted this). If I do have a question on authentication, I'll ask. Other than that, I'll seek and find the appropriate place to discuss. Sorry again for the goof in posting it here. I tried to delete it, but couldn't find the edit button. :)

I'd venture to bet that most (if not all) of the authenticators and experienced Coachies have bought (unknowingly) "high quality" bags that turned out to be fake.

You're more than welcome to do your own authentications but for my hard-earned money, I prefer to have other eyes look at items if there's any possibility that it might be fake. And for the price of what we charge here, it's a pretty darned good deal!

JMHO.

ETA: I'm not implying that there are any red flags in the pictures you showed. But since those pictures don't show the details necessary to determine authenticity, we can't judge them at all.
