Is it possible to get a better photo of the creed and serial number? Please take it in Landscape mode and maybe it will be easier to read it and fit it completely into the photo if it's photographed horizontally.

Hey~ Shop owner at emotional baggage here..

This thread was sent to me and I feel very hurt. To see this withought me having a chance to defend myself or make this right and instead bashed online is very upsetting.

I struggle with anxiety and depression and this store has given me so much purpose and happiness. Reading these comments.. was very hard for me.

I do not have a business of selling counterfeit items and am a super small online store. So sometimes small things fall through the cracks. However I did list on both my sites in the title that it is awaiting authentication. I did believe it to be real and am going to have it appraised in person by my local consigner first thing tomorrow as I had planned.

Should my sources reveal it is a fake I’ll be pricing it accordingly.

It’s still an amazing bag! I am also fairly new to the business of selling vintage online and still have some learning to do when it comes to designer goods.

I know that the purpose of this site is to educate people on product.. however I feel more bullied than educated on this. I had hoped that this site would be more helpful than hurtful.

I lost my job recently and am struggling to get by. I’ve put a lot of work into my online store and it means a lot to me, so I hope you can all be kind and help me to make this right.

I responded to this post in the hall of shame thread since those are the posts you’re referring to. I stand by my response over there & If you truly believe we are bullying you, please quote the exact parts of our posts where you feel attacked. I will say it again, I have NEVER been rude to anyone on this forum & I don’t appreciate being falsely accused of bullying.

Apparently the listing was removed but I found your post requesting authentication.

This was your request for authentication of a listing from Mercari seller Charlene Andrews:

(Does anyone know how to search for a seller on Mercari?)

I'm sorry you were the victim of a bait and switcher! It looks like she's also on Poshmark although there are a lot of members there with the same name.

Beware of sellers named Charlene Andrews.

Have you already received your refund? What was the seller's excuse when confronted and caught doing a bait and switch?

Thank you BB - I don't know how to search for a seller but here's the link to her selling page https://www.mercari.com/u/221806811/.

Re refund - my US family member ('FM') orders all my poshmark/mercari items to his home as I can't make an account from outside the US. My FM submitted a refund request but it went to the Mercari team who informed the seller to confirm her return address, which was granted, so FM will ship the fake mess back. No direct contact with the seller as far as I know. Shame as I would've liked to have confronted her and hear what she had to say.

Please see pics below how ridiculously different/fake the bag that arrived was from the casino! Whew, that top handle, base and zip compartment! It also had a thicker strap.

Haha, FM (who knows nothing about Coach) had opened and examined the authentic navy Casino just before unboxing this one and said 'oh wow nice, there's a zip compartment in this one', thinking it was a newer, improved version of the Casino!:sad: It definitely stings but I'm determined to one day finally get my black casino.

Hi there,
Hope you have a great Eastern weekend.
I frequent this thread , it helped me tremendously in both buying and selling.
First of all, the knowledges of the authenticators here are unbelievable, they authenticate each bag by it’s construction details, the font and spacing and other details in the creed, etc, in Coach history, the designs & creeds were constantly changing, in order to authenticate a specific bag, they need to compare the construction details especially the creed, with what they have on files of the same month, same year, same production plant of the same style bag, that is a vast large volume of files, and they keep both the authentic ones and the knowing fake ones, so the result is very accurate, I don’t know if your local consigner can compare with that.
Second, the authenticators and users here are passionate in defending the integrity of Coach brand, but not taking sides, if you have a buyer falsely accusing you of selling fake, they will defend you as a seller, the same as they defend a buyer get burned by a fake.
It is not easy to maintain an online store, I truly believe it is not your intention to misleading anyone.
This thread can be a very powerful tool for you to weed out troubles before they start, as authentication service is free, you can submit Coach bags you plan to sell to ensure they are authentic prior to listing. Usually the response time to a request is very fast ( most time within hours )
