• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

As long as the bag you receive has exactly the same creed and serial number as the photo, it's genuine, made in 1998

Please be patient if you don't get a response right away.

Keep in mind that we volunteer our time and expertise and do it between obligations - family, jobs, etc. and sometimes real life takes precedence.

Also, some items take a bit more time to evaluate or those who know a certain item may not have seen the post.

Although I'm not familiar with the actual style of bag, I don't see anything that raises red flags. I believe that the bag looks fine.

Genuine, probably a Slim Clutch Large, style 9555 from the mid to late 1970s or early 1980s.

Thank you. Do you or anyone on this forum actually have one of the early illustrated catalogs? I'm just so curious to see how it was set up (I work in graphic design).
I'm wondering what size it was, was a it little, say 5x7" or a full sized catalog? Small or large number of pages? Was it completely illustrated except for those ten color hangtags?
I have looked online periodically to see if they were for sale, but I would love it if it were on a site like issuu where I could flip through to view even if I couldn't have one in hand.
