Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Okay, this is weird. If the bag is alleged to be fake (WHICH It IS NOT), why is that same bag listed on Etsy?

Compare the creeds as well as the mark on the right side of the creed. There's another mark on both creeds between the Coach cartouche and the bullet.

Take several screencaps of the Etsy listing if you haven't already. Actual screencaps, not just saving the page. Also take and keep screencaps of her replies.

'People are so mean"? REALLY????? Who does that remind me of? And no, it's not a politician.

And guess who she's either Following or a "Friend" of on Facebook? I thought that name sounded familiar. And the name of her FB "friend" is also known to many of us.



I strongly suggest that anyone who is just a little disgusted at this kind of apparent scam especially when it has connections to "someone" with a declared vendetta against ALL tPF members make a note of this seller's other IDs and selling sites. My Spidey Sense is doing some dot-connecting and anyone buying from or selling to certain sellers on various sites and who's known as a tPF member has a target taped to their backs. If anyone is known to be a tPFer on Posh, Etsy, Mercari, and the other biggies, use extreme caution. If you're NOT known as a tPFer yet, make sure it stays that way. And there have been other "dirty tricks" from the same source recently too. If anyone thinks they've been targeted, please let me know. And take screencaps of the details.

Why would she say that it's "cutthroat" when SHE is the one who listed her purchase on another site, presumably knowing it's genuine then accused YOU of selling a fake?

Sounds to me like she's the cutthroat one.

Thanks so much - I was a little surprised at her mean feedback - I did put a message on her page asking who authenticated for her and told her I was having it authenticated myself. Havent received a response yet. I’m definitely not going to argue with her - she can return if she likes. I just feel bad she gave me a bad review - I really enjoy rehabbing bags to sell and keep for myself

I suspect this “friend” still follows TPF and uses this thread to find fodder to post counterfeit bags in their Facebook group.

I’m just a lurker in it, hoping this doesn’t get me ousted.

Oh, there's no question that it's the same bag.

The seller on etsy is the same person as the buyer on Poshmark.

My issue with GreenbeevintageCo (Etsy) was that if she thought the bag was fake, why she listed it there.

But I believe (now) that at the time she listed, she believed it to be genuine and it wasn't until someone (another possible buyer) told her that it's fake that she hit the seller with a poor feedback rating rather than contacting the seller first.

As a seller on multiple sites, buyer/reseller GreenbeevintageCo knows the impact of a counterfeit accusation and without even verifying whether she received accurate information on the authenticity, she hurt the Poshmark seller. And IMO, that is very wrong!

It's a genuine Classic Hobo, style 9855 probably made some time around 1989. It's probably BT, I don't think Stone was available on that style.
