In one of the photos it looks like the metal charm might still be on the bag but I don't see the tassel or the leather hangtag. I remember that there was a bit of confusion here at tPF about what was supposed to be part of the Anniversary package and what wasn't, and for how long. I never did figure it out, by May 2012 even the creed wording had gone back to the standard "superior craftsmanship". :confused1:

ETA - Here's a 7-page thread from when the style was first released as a Pilot bag:
Mine was made in August 2012. It has the standard creed but came with the same hangtags (except the leather one doesn't have anything on the back) and tassel as the original. It also has the striped lining.

Hi, I received this station bag, and didn’t realize until I got it that the piping is a different color, it’s navy, and I’ve never seen this before? I’d like to know if this is authentic or not please

It's authentic.

The description states that it's "a darker hunter green with black trimming ."

Hi, Would you please authenticate this bag I that belongs to a co-worker? I believe it is fake, however wanted to get confirmation from professionals. 7.5" x 8" x 3" creed is light. Says handcrafted in Mexico #m9n 9076

You're missing a picture of the front of the bag. When we ask for the back of the turnlock, we mean the back of the female portion. The creed is mostly unreadable.

Good evening, authenticators!
May I kindly request your expert opinion on this gray Station bag?

Item: Vintage Coach Station Bag 9927
Listing No.: 264963616279
Seller: fatimahgogo2012

Comments: The stitching on the closure tab looks a bit sloppy. The color is rare, and the creed claims the bag was made in New York City. I am wondering if this model was actually made in NYC.

Since I come across this often - wondering if a certain model was actually made in the time frame and place indicated on the creed stamp, is there a kind of database where this could be queried? I'm guessing there isn't, since I find myself doing some significant sleuthing every time a bag's provenance isn't very obvious.

It's authentic. There isn't a database as such. We authenticators here keep our own files that help us determine when certain styles were made. Station bags were made for a long time. What is more important to us if the design details and the wording and font of the creed are correct for the time and place.

Just a correction to @night-owl - The style number of the station bag is 5130, not 9927 as described (in the item specifics) by the seller.
