Good afternoon authenticators! Would you mind taking a look at two duffle sacs on Etsy? The first I suspect is counterfeit, and the second one is on its way to me :)

Haha! I was pretty tickled myself. If you’d like any other pics, let me know! Here are some developments from rehab:

Just a late comment on colors.

Here's an order sheet from around 1978 with color availability, it's the oldest color list I have other than a sample page of Cashin colors from the mid-60s. What's interesting is that it's almost the same as the color samples from the 1981 catalog except that - are you ready? - there's NO British Tan. Apparently the old Rust color that so many vintage collectors are in love with was replaced by BT some time between 1978 and 1981. Of course it may have come back for a year or two after that, but that narrows the dates for each color down a bit.

So I guess the bag isn't British Tan. Putty or Tabac maybe?

I have this in my possession now, I’m fairly certain it’s authentic, but wondering if anyone knows anything about it? Thanks in advance!

OMG, "Cool" does not even begin to describe it. It's genuine, made in the NYC plant in November 1994. Style number 9933. I wonder if it was something that was "flagship store only"? It's not in the Holiday Preview catalog either. Whatever it's history, how cool would it be to find a real Coach stocking in your Christmas stocking! Congratulations on finding and scoring it before "some" greedy reseller scarfed it up and slapped a $500 price tag on it!

Thanks, Hyacinth! It doesn’t have any reddish or golden undertones to it so I was thinking Tabac that became mottled and darkened with age. $68 brand new. Yes, please!

I have one more!
This is also looking fake to me as well? It looks like it sold already
