It's authentic. It appears to be in great condition. If you want help in getting rid of the ink mark, visit us in the rehab club. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/coach-rehab-and-rescue-club.833400/

Yes! And you have certainly included a lot of information there about this very thing. I was just thinking the switch to numbers happened in the mid 2000s, not in the 90s. And the K62 seemed inconsistent. Do you agree that her listing isn’t accurate and that it must either be an I if it’s with a K6 or a 2 if it’s with a K7? Does that make sense?

I've never really paid attention to it. As far as I know there's no "either-or" like you're describing. Coach made changes and used various combinations of plants as the situation required. Don't ever get hung up on trying to fit things neatly into calendar spaces, Coach doesn't work that way. It took them more than 2 years just to get the updated 1994 creed stamps out to all their various plants.

And on the subject of Coach's consistency - it's mentioned in either the Salearea Guides or the Daria48 Fake Numbers List that "the most consistent thing about Coach is their inconsistency". And we're not joking.

I knowww. And every time I see something that seems out if place, I try to fit it into neat little systematic boxes. Nuance is not my forte. What y’all do is beyond me.

That's why it's SO important for anyone serious about buying or selling Coaches to have a large photo library for reference, either their own (which is almost impossible since a lot of those photo sources don't exist any more) or have access to a place where expert authenticators DO have libraries. "Authenticators" who can't be bothered with saving photos and files, or worse yet, sites that authenticate by computer, just aren't going to get it right often enough. They may get the easy ones but the close fakes or almost-accurate creeds and serial numbers are going to be a big problem.

Please let me know if authentic, thank you so much in advance!!

Item: mini cream bag
Seller: marsy626 on Poshmark

Hi, just bumping in case this got lost! Would really appreciate a look. My friend purchased this and now wondering whether it's authentic (too late I know, but would like to help her out). Thank you!
I did see your post but generally don't comment. I ignore and/or recommend against Poshmark and many sellers because of the lack of honesty I see on the site but I'll comment since your friend already purchased.

If the bag shown in the listing is the bag your friend received, it might be okay although the seller is incorrect and misleading in describing it as vintage. Having been made in 2012, it's only 8 years old so won't be vintage until 2032!

If she has already received the bag, I'd like to see more pictures of the actual item because all the seller's listings show different backgrounds, multiple people/models in each listing and in this listing, I'm not even sure the bag shown in various pictures is the same color. (It could be lighting but none of the pictures are clear or close enough to see details.)

So, I'm hoping that the third time is a charm! I posted regarding a Willis I received from an eBay listing. Apparently, it was a China made outlet bag and I just was not happy with the quality (or lack thereof) of that bag, so the seller kindly accepted my return and refunded me on it. Armed with this new information (I learn something new every time I post a bag here...I thank you all for that!), I purchased a United States made version. It looks good to me, but wanted to get some expert eyes on it. Other Willis bags I've seen have the 9927 designation in the serial number, where this one does not. Once again, any insight appreciated!

It's genuine, just a stamping mistake at the plant. Made in 1998.
