It looks good.

Hi! What do you think about this court creed on shopgoodwill? I’m not interested in paying over $75 for the two, but the creed caught my eye. Do you think they meant B instead of 2? Or no one will ever know...

Both bags are authentic. 2 is the correct plant code for Turkey.
Haha. I always get the plant/month codes swapped. But shouldn’t it be letter-number-letter?

Not all plant codes are letters. The month code is always a letter but the plant code can be either. The earliest plant codes were letters, then they started using numbers. All recent bags have a two digit number for the plant code.
Good to know! Thanks!
Hi again, Whateve. One more thought. I’m seeing K62 and A7I codes for bags listed online (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-CO...r-Crossbody-Bag-turnlock-Turkey-/133462312148, https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintage-Coach-City-Bag-9790-5d3bbd0426219fa55c6ccb9f). Can you confirm that means some time in late 1996 they swapped from a 2 to I for the Turkey plant code? I know I’ve seen Turkey bags before and just never noticed that 2 in there. Just wondering for future reference. It seems backwards, like they started with the number and then went to the letter

ETA, wrong link. Ugh. Searching again and I’ll update with the K62. The court on goodwill is a K72, which also seems strange. ETA2! M72 for the court on goodwill.

the K62 was written in the description of a PM listing and the seller didn’t post a pic. In that case, it looks more likely that the seller mistyped the code and all other attached creeds fall in line as the switch from I to 2 in 1997.

I assume the I plant and the 2 plant were two different plants, both located in Turkey.

That information is included in the six Salearea Guides, BTW.
Yes! And you have certainly included a lot of information there about this very thing. I was just thinking the switch to numbers happened in the mid 2000s, not in the 90s. And the K62 seemed inconsistent. Do you agree that her listing isn’t accurate and that it must either be an I if it’s with a K6 or a 2 if it’s with a K7? Does that make sense?
