Good day authenticators, Can you please look at this bag?

Item: Vintage Coach Janice Legacy 9950 Coata Rica
Seller: lisadcastillo

can you please tell me what kind of leather this is? Is it considered saddle? Or British tan? Thanks!
It's authentic. It's not vintage, it was made in 2004. The leather is burnished, which with Coach means the color varies towards the edges. It seems much darker than British tan. It might be vicuna.

Apparently she also has a history about stretching the truth about the designer of the bag too.

I just want to remind everyone buying or selling vintage Coach that Bonnie Cashin ended her collaboration with Coach in 1974. (That was a good 15 years before this bag was made).

Please always be extremely cautious about bags being labeled as "Bonnie Cashin" by uneducated or unscrupulous sellers to pump up the perceived value. If Cashin had designed or made all the bags sellers have claimed for her, she would have been chained to her desk at Coach until sometime around 2007. (And since she died in February of 2000 that would have been a little unpleasant). If a Cashin attribution is important to you, please ask us if it's correct.

Never accept a seller's guess about style names, production dates, and especially designers as gospel without asking someone here who knows.

Thank you for this information Hyacinth! Good to know and keep in mind.
