Hope you all are having a wonderful day - can you authenticate this Goodwill on line bag when you have a minute? Item #103497723. Says measurements are 14X12X14 with a strap drop of 15. Don’t think the 14” depth is correct? Thanks as always!
It looks good. It's an Alexandra from 2010. I think the depth is about 6 inches.

While "that's what someone at Coach decided is correct," in this case, you're comparing SIMILAR but not identical bags. Someone at Coach decided that one style would have a creed and the other style wouldn't have a creed.

Aside from the different materials, compare the front pockets. The flaps are different, the buckles are different, there's stitching on the leather flap strap, etc.

Thanks for pointing that out. I originally thought that they were just minor variations to accommodate the different leathers, but the shape of the flap and the detail around the buckle certainly supports the idea that they are different styles.

Or another "maybe, maybe not" possibility - some upper level manager pics up the sample and thinks, "Hmmm, nice leather, this supplier really does good work. Let's see if the customers think so too, and if they do, we'll order more". Turns to his underling and says "make a note. I want this style kept on the top of the counter at all times, not way back in the display cases. I'd like to hear how our customers like the feel of this leather". Underling writes "TOP OF COUNTER" on his notepad right above the official name "Legacy Compartment" and passes it down to HIS underling who a day later, is trying to figure out the correct arrangement of the new official name and finally comes up with "Legacy Top Of Counter Compartment". And once again, Coach history is made.
The possibilities are endless!
