Hello! I have doubts about this one...

poshmark
Robynvz4

It looks like the suede is a different color than the outside. And the construction seems odd. And the lettering on the hangtag. And many other things, the more I look. I’m wondering if also she relisted because the previous one was returned. Thank you!
It's fake. That number is a known fake number. You can see problems with the construction and the hardware.
Did you see this in the description? "Given to me as a gift unsure of authenticity, looks and feels real."

I'm guessing she knows it's fake.

ETA: In fact, in robynvz4's newer listing, her price has been reduced and the description has added the authenticity disclaimer!

Compare to the original listing that was sold and returned, probably because the buyer learned that it's fake:

Ha! Such quality sleuthing. She also hasn’t addressed the question in the comments about two listings.

Hello Authenticators,
Just picked up this abused Rogue 25 from local Kijiji sale. Is it authentic? Thanks.

Sorry. It's fake.

The pattern is sideways, the serial number is invalid, the plant code is invalid for the year the bag claims to have been made (which was several years before Coach even made signature bags, the text of the creed contradicts the plant code, and the creed describes a leather bag.

Return it!

Hi BB
I thought so. I picked it up and said hmmm doesn't feel right, put it back and then said...oh what the heck, take it ('cause it didn't cost much LOL) and ask the experts and learn something. Trial and error. No return...but it's OK.
Thanks again.
Much much appreciated.

A "no return" policy is out the window when it comes to counterfeit items.

As much as they don't like to admit it, thrift stores are subject to the same laws as every other store or seller. Fake are illegal and even thrifts aren't allowed to sell them.

Unless you're willing to eat the loss, I'd take it back, explain the law and if they don't want to issue a refund, perhaps you can do an exchange by purchasing something else for the same or similar price.

Hi BB
I didn't know one had that recourse. I thought that was limited to on line sellers. Thank You for educating me. I really appreciate it. I will follow up with the store. Thanks again

They sometimes try to give you a hard time, claim it wasn't sold as authentic, items are donations and they take what they're given, blah, blah, blah.

If you're assertive and serious, they should relent. (Let them know you'll report them to Coach for selling counterfeits. FYI, Coach does have a way to report though I doubt they'll do much. But the threat to contact them won't hurt. :) )

Asking for advice please. Thank You! Last year I saw 2 fake Coach at a thrift store. A Willis for 79$ and a mini Ergo for 29$. They both had that plastic looking leather like the bluish fake station on poshmark. I am not sure if someone bought them but not there next day. A lot of $$$ to loose for a fake. Would you tell the store?
