  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

Please help!!! recently purchased a red Vintage coach bucket from ebay, similar to the 9085, but older model. is it authentic??? Measurements are 15.5" at it widest/ 13" high and 8.5" diameter base. Serial # says 1469 209.

It's an authentic 9085 duffle sac made in the early 90s before Coach put style numbers in the creed.
 
Yes, I'm reading an "L" plant on the Lula and I also (think I) see silver grommets on the strap.

Are you confirming my own conclusion?

ETA: Oops, I see you did refer to the iffy grommets.


Yep, it's at least Questionable. You know me, I'd rather err on the side of caution and just not report it. The L plant code isn't conclusive without a readable set of month and year codes since the L code with an oversize L was used for a US plant between 1996 and 1997, but there's no way to tell if the L is oversize or not. The grommets could go either way. The drawstring tips are really the only solid piece of evidence, so it's not a lot to base a report on.

The other one is definitely a stinker.

Personally I'd give this one a pass and report the stinker.

I've seen more than one type of stitching on drawstring tips on the same style of bag. There are only specific examples that would indicate fake IMO.

The listing was removed so someone reported it.
