Could you please take a look at this bag? I have concerns because what I received is not quite the same as the photo in the listing, and I'm not sure if it got switched out, or ...????

Seller: Linda's Closet
Bag: Daypack 9960

The creed looks the same, the outlet "bullet" seems to be in the same location, but check out the tassels in photo #2 of the listing - stitching across the top of the tassel. I've attached photos of what the tassels look like on what she sent - no stitching.

What do you think? Is this authentic? I usually assume when they have the bullet it is safe. Seller claims she had two bag same color and condition, and that she may have "mixed up the photos between the two".

This is probably a stupid question, but give me a break, it's late.

Are those leather endcaps on the drawstring the same on both sides? I think the seller's correct when she says she mixed up the photos between 2 identical bags, the stitching on one set of endcaps is coming a bit loose. But both creed photos look identical so if the photo you posted is of the bag you received, it's genuine. MORE OPINIONS ARE WELCOME.

ETA
- Just a heads-up. She DOES have at least one fake listed, that bubble-gum pink "hippie backpack" with an always fake serial number prefix K3H- and a color never used by Coach in vintage leather bags since the days of Bonnie Cashin.

EATA - Whoops, spoke too soon. The Periwinkle Drawstring doesn't look quite right either but the creed photo isn't as clear as I'd like. I would NOT risk buying anything from this seller
" LindasCoachCloset " on Etsy.

AND another one - Vintage dark red leather backpack was definitely NOT made by Coach either.

Both sides are the same. I have not seen tassels that look like this before - even though the creed looks okay, the tassels are worrying me. She told me she had two bags, and when I asked her if she still had the other one she said she sold it "a few months ago" but when I looked it up (I had an email from her because I had asked a question about the first bag) it says it sold July 4. So - not months ago. And the other listing - the one that sold on July 4 - had the exact same photos, same creed, etc. I didn't even realize it was a separate bag until I saw the two different listings. What should I do? I spent way more than I should have because I really wanted this bag in this color...

Please authenticate this Coach listing? Thank you.
Item: Coach Floral Leather Cross Body COA
Listing#: 97815672

Seller: Gooodwill

Site where listed: Goodwill

Comments: I’ve never seen a creed patch like this one.
That listing can't be authenticated from those pictures and if those are the pictures that a-u-t-h-e-n-t-i-c-a-t-e / first used to authenticate it, be very wary.

The bag is highly faked and faked extremely closely and without the right pictures, it's easy to get it wrong.

Interesting about the pink color of the "hippie backpack", because she sold another identical style/color recently, but with a different prefix.

I don't know what's going on with Etsy seller, LindasCoachCloset but something's screwy.

Her listing shows pictures from 2 different bags (with 2 different sets of drawstrings) and the drawstrings you've shown from the bag you received are from a THIRD bag!!

As shown in the pictures below, she images are taken from her listing and both are different from yours. SO LindasCoachCloset has or had 3 of the same bag. Who knows what her other buyers received?!?!?

Whether the other bag she sold had the same serial number too, we'll never know because I think it's too hard to tell whether the creed pictures show the same creed or 2 different ones with the same serial number. (I lightened/brightened your picture to make the comparison easier to see.)

I think the creed shown in the listing might be from the bag you received because the lighter areas appear to be showing in both.

And regarding the periwinkle bag, that too is fake. Compare her blue fake to an authentic bag made in the same month/year/plant.

I agree - avoid LindasCoachCloset.

And the other Bazooka bubble gum pink bag LindasCoachCloset sold is fake too:

She sold a fake denim blue one too:

Although I'd like a better creed picture, I think there's a problem with this listing too:

LINDASCOACHCLOSET FAKE (blue) vs. Authentic (red)

I agree - avoid LindasCoachCloset.
I believe the bag you received is authentic. The little scoop cut out on the ends of the drawstrings is correct while the straight across shown in some of the pictures would have made me worry. The scooped and sewn across is good too. There are definitely pictures of 3 different bags in that listing. Possibly one of them was fake, but not the one you received.
