Fabulous, thank you. Just as I was writing this I saw the catalog page that you sent me, very nice info to have. Oh no, not mad, I’m now more knowledgeable. I just posted what this seller listed. Thank you for helping to educate me. I haven’t used this forum aside from asking for authentication but is there a place here where I can further educate myself? Thank you again.
This is for @Craigers, sorry I messed up the Quote!

I'm SO glad you asked! Shameless Self-Promotion, coming up !!!

At the top of every page in this sub-forum with an index of posts is a section with Pinned subjects. The one that says "Salearea Guides" will tell you more about Coach in a few pages of posts than you can find in hours of searching Google or DuckDuckGo, and the information will be a lot more accurate. The thread also includes Daria48's Fake Coach Serial Numbers List, which makes dull reading in general (Hey, she even admits it!) but there's some good information on fake Coaches and at least you'll know where to find the list in the future if you need it.

Start here:

ETA - Ooo, nice to know that someone else found all that information useful! At least I've done ONE positive thing with my life. Thanks, @Morgan_Bellini :flowers:
Thank you so much, fantastic information.

It's an authentic swagger #9820 made in the mid to late 80s in New York City as it says in the creed.

Good morning! Have a few items I’m eyeballing as gifts and would love authentication. Thanks in advance

First up...

Item: Embassy Tote
Listing number: Unknown
Seller: duarte61 / Ebay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/324126590800
Comments: Looks like this may be one of the styles from the 70s/80s that used an 8-digit serial number with no hyphens, but would appreciate validation on that.

Thanks!
Next up...

Item: Kiss lock Tote
Listing number: unknown
Seller: joyride6 / Ebay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/254377988628
Comments: Hoping the picture the seller provides of the creed/serial number will work for validation!

1 - genuine, but not an Embassy Tote, I don't think Coach ever used that name, at least not for a vintage item. It's actually a style 5230 Shoulder Brief from the late 1980s which is when all those serial numbers with a number replacing the hyphen were made.

2- genuine. My catalog files aren't available at the moment, but maybe Whateve can supply a name if she's awake this early, or I can try later when I have access to my files. Probably from some time in the 1970s.

Just a quick update - the second one might be a Skinny Tote, style 9545 but I can't be sure.
