Thank you so much.
I assume inner zipper was replaced because its different than other court bag.

"Different" in what way? And what "other Court Bag?" If you're comparing details on one bag to details on another, post photos.

The only different thing you might be seeing about the zipper is that the metal pull is tucked inside the pocket. Otherwise, show us what you mean. We may be very good authenticators, but crystal balls aren't part of our regular toolbox.

I mean the zipper itself, it doesnt have brass metal teeth. I am assuming its replaced if the bag is authentic.
I really admire what you all authnticator do here. Thank you for being here for us.
I have attached the pic of the zipper

Coach changed a LOT of their zippers from brass to nylon during the 1990s, it's very common and not a problem. And I doubt very much if it's a replacement.

@Foz
ETA -Whether a Zipper is brass or nylon is literally so unimportant that I don't even save that information even in photos except accidently. But out of all my serial number and creed photos I actually managed to find another one in a genuine bag frm the same year 2002 and the same Costa Rica plant as you're asking about. Click on the thumbnails.

PS - ignore the duplicate pic, I'm still trying to figure out the forum changes

You're IN the Coach subforum. She means use the Search feature (magnifying glass icon) to search for that seller's name. Enter it in the "keywords" line (first line) of the Search page.

And this is what you get - 4 PAGES of posts that include that seller's name, some of them mentioning a fake Coach item she listed or sold

Hyacinth,
Thank you very much. I used my phone & sometimes have difficulties knowing where I am, lol .

Please don't get upset, this isn't directed at you. But I get SO tired of sellers that can't be bothered to do any research on what they're actually selling and just stick a name like "Penny" on anything that bears even the slightest resemblance to some OTHER bag in an auction listing that some OTHER seller didn't know the name of either.

It's not and never was called a Penny, the real Penny was a much older style with a different strap and strap attachments, made in the early 1970s from what I can find and probably too early to have even had a serial number. Please don't use that name in a selling description or the problem will never go away. Again, not your fault. The actual name is Pocket Purse, the style number is 9755, and this particular (genuine) one was made some time in the early 1990s. It was made somewhere in the US or their possessions, there's no way to be more exact with bags made before 1994.

Hi!

I'd like to authenticate this bag before I give my rating. I jumped on the listing without seeing the creed. (I took a photo and attached it below.) I know that wasn't smart, but they always sell so fast and it's exactly what I've been looking for.

Item: GORGEOUS LIKE NEW Coach Zip Top Bag

Seller: Kery Grimes

I also wanted to thank everyone that helped me authenticate the last bag as I never hot back to say thanks! You all are so helpful and I jotted down the information so I can look out for it on other listings.

Thank you for helping to educate me. I haven’t used this forum aside from asking for authentication but is there a place here where I can further educate myself? Thank you again.
