Hi, please authenticate.
I purchased Feb 2018 off ebay from alps1280. I am not sure how to show the link. It's not live anymore in my ebay account. It's my only non-authenticated Coach, so I'm guessing I purchased before I knew about TPF. Fingers crossed. If you need other views, let me know.
Thank you.

It's fine.

BTW, zipper brand has nothing to do with authenticity!
Hi. I’ve been trying to research about zipper brands because I’m selling a bag for my friend who owns a consignment store on Poshmark and somebody inquired whether it has a YKK zipper. It does not. The brand is OK. I’ve never heard of it in my 20 years of selling designer bags. Do you know anything about That brand? When you say zipper brand doesn’t matter are you speaking specifically to coach bags or all brands?

For Coach, we don't use zipper brand as a factor in authenticating bags. Other brands may very well consider the zipper brand when authenticating. It is a myth that Coach only used YKK zippers. They used many different brands. If you would like to have a bag authenticated, post pictures here, following the instructions in the first post of this thread. We don't allow links to your own active listings (or your friend's). Please tell us where the bag was obtained and if it was purchased online recently, we need a link to that listing.

Please read the "YKK Zipper Myth" section of the Salearea Coach Guides that I researched and wrote for Ebay seller Salearea and updated in 2018, they're posted and Pinned right to the top of this subforum. Feel free to give your friend the link and I hope it thoroughly explains why the zipper brand on a Coach doesn't prove anything about authenticity. You can get back to the authenticators here if you or your friend have any questions:
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/salearea-guides.983575/page-2#post-32253103

There are 6 parts to the Guides, I hope they're useful if you have questions about the brand, or better yet, just ask us. There'e no need to spend time researching zipper brands.
