Interestingly, even though you know there are posts in the entire "Coach" subforum and the ID should come up in a search, I find that it doesn't work when searching the entire subforum.

However when I search within the Coach sub (in this case, "Coach shopping"), I get all (or at least most) of the hits for her ID.

Since @kistae was looking at a listing from laur100, that's the ID I searched.

First, my search of "COACH" subforum -

Then, my search of "Coach Shopping"

What happens when you use the "SEARCH FORUMS" link at the top of every page instead of the individual forums' Search link? The one right above the point of the red arrow in your first screencap. That's what I always use, then if I don't select a specific forum it searches all of them.

A Search for "laur100" brings up 19 results.
https://forum.purseblog.com/search/11249306/?q=laur100&t=post&o=date
(too many results to fit in a screencap)

I don't use the Magnifying link in the individual forums unless I'm looking for a very specific result and want to limit it to just one forum.

Include a link to the Mercari listing. If there are sufficient pictures in the listing, you won't need to upload any of your own. We can't authenticate without all the required pictures.
This is the link, sorry I’m very new to this website and am trying to figure my way around! It’s now allowing to attach the other pictures to the reply so here these are: 35664CF2-EC8E-479A-8AC4-638B6FE6F90C.jpeg

I thought it looked like the Zippered Pouch.
From the Fall 1982 catalog:

Summer 1986 catalog:View attachment 4742233
Edit: @VintageIsBest you beat me to it!

AHA. That's it!

I was only looking through catalogs from 1988 thru 1993 because of the Made in the United States creed stamp. I boxed myself in to exactly the wrong years in the catalog records.

Thanks, @MrsGAM and @VintageIsBest! :flowers:

ETA - I actually have 4 names in my files for that one:
9655 - Retro Sm Zippered Pouch, extra-long 45" sewn on tubular strap, Brass industrial zipper,
9x5x1.5 inches (1986 and Ltd Ed !994 Hol. Preview) like Basic Bag except for size & strap
(was just Zippered Pouch 9655 in 1986, Small Zippered Pouch in the 1983 catalog, was Small Zip Pouch in Holiday 97)
heavy-duty zippers with the dark navy fabric are "industrial zippers"

Purchased at a garage sale. It is much newer than I usually purchase. Not sure I have the correct photos. Can someone authenticate and tell me the name, etc? Thanks very much.
There should be a white tag somewhere in the bag, probably inside the inner pocket. Please take a picture of that. It might be necessary to turn the pocket inside out to find it.

I've never used that one! I tried it and got 20 results. (The extra I found is because it counted your post.)

I've always use the magnifying glass.

The swaggers are "well faked" but this one looks fine.

Hi just wanted to add that I think I know when the search function on the top right doesn't work: I have multiple TPF threads open and if they're left idle for too long, the search function wouldn't work properly.

Could someone authenticate this and maybe tell me what year(s) it is from?
Item:
COACH Chestnut Brown Leather Crossbody Purse Bag

Listing number: none on poshmark
Seller and site where listed: SELLER: dealprimadonna SITE: Poshmark
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/COACH-...-Crossbody-Purse-Bag-5e2737785967043645dd5d15
Comments: I just think it's adorable but I can't recognize the ID# or find one that matches it.
It's fake.

Actually, the serial number, 308-9875 is fairly common on fakes. I'm not sure how you searched for it but if you google, you'll find a lot of posts from this site referring to the fake number.

ETA: That bag isn't dealprimadonna's only fake. This is fake too:

ETA again.
She has 2 fake Dooneys too.

Do not buy from dealprimadonna.
