Item: Coach bag small red round Body (Italy, 1998, 4187, Lexington)
Listing number: m12470590097
Seller: sandman

Comments: It appears that I am avoiding "stress eating" during this quarantine by indulging in "stress buying" - and I'd better knock it off soon! But when I see a cute, vintage, red, Italian coach bag for $21 shipped how could I resist? Of course I didn't resist!

I believe that this bag is from the Lexington line and I see that it is missing the hangtag, do you know the name of this bag? The style number is 4187. I have seen a few brown ones listed online that were made in the Dominican Republic but this red one says Italy.

Here is a picture of the creed and there are more photos at the link above. Please give an opinion about authenticity. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

It's authentic. It was called Lexington satchel. I rehabbed two of these, both made in the Dominican Republic. One was red.

@whateve I am working on rehabbing my red Lexington Satcher 4187 and I have a question for you. My bag doesn't have a hangtag so I did some research online to try and see the original hangtag for this bag. I've only found a few examples online (red and brown bags) but none of them have hangtags. Do you know if this bag originally came with a hangtag and if so, was it a plain leather hangtag? Thanks!

This listing doesn't have the pictures required to authenticate. See the first post at the top of the page to see what we need. However, I can already tell you there is something seriously wrong with that bag.

Sorry I should have asked the seller to provide those photos. Now that you mention it, this might be a fake. The Google images I have seen show a more square flap but this has edges that are more round. Unless its not the Willis city. Hopefully the seller updates.

I'm not @whateve but I looked around. Many didn't have hang tags but some did. If the hangtags are original to the bags, it looks like they were the double sided leather ones.

I think BeenBurned is right. This is the hangtag on mine.
