Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Warning to future buyers, although crazygoodbananas has a bunch of genuine Coach bags, the bag that @kistae received isn't the only fake.

She has this one, made in Korea:

It was a bit busy but it’s such a large building so people were pretty spread out. They were enforcing all shoppers to wear masks as were the staff. I only looked in purse section and used hand sanitizer as soon as I got out of there. Honestly I was a little nervous but everyone seemed to be keeping their distance. :smile:

Thank you so much for the authentication. She's a sweet lady I purchased from before. And we'll see about their response. Based on their store policy, they charge a restocking fee, don't pay for international returns and don't refund items beyond 2 weeks of receipt. :/

The main difference between the styles is that the classic pouch doesn't have the zipper. I actually prefer this style.

I've decided to get it. For one, the hunt for a 9951 would have to happen another day. For another, I really like this seller and I want to support her. She was really nice back when i bought from her in 2014 and oh boy, she was not kidding about her leather conditioning/cleaning skills :heart:

Also, this is literally my first fake so I'm not sure what one does with it. I'm probably keeping mine as a permanent red flag to myself. Gah.

Thank you! :flowers: I didn't find anything alarming but just wanted another set of expert eyes as this is my first Parker. We have seen other signature Parker faked before and also seen quilted rivets Rogue that had been faked. Can't hurt to double check! Thanks again!

IMO, a good seller (especially one with a repeat customer) shouldn't charge a restocking fee when the reason for the return would be because the item never should have been sold in the first place.

(Remember, the law disallows the sale of fakes PERIOD and the seller is expected to verify and confirm authenticity before an item is listed.)

I'm not comfortable with that bag. I've seen 2 different fonts for 1995 C plant and this bag doesn't have either of them.

Other opinions are welcome.

ETA: I found another bag with the same font and poor uneven stamping of the creed. I'm not comfortable with this one either.

I agree. The second one, from kollector-kim has an invalid zipper pull.
