Seller: everydaythings71

FWIW: I've seen this seller's photos on here before. Not sure if they were authentication requests or if she's a member.

Thanks in advance, everyone. Be safe!

The bag in question is fine.
I didn't find any other requests or posts about the seller here but she did (apparently) have a fake removed based on her post here but the listing that was removed isn't the one she claimed.
I didn't find everydaythings71 posted here on TPF however it looks like she sells on Etsy as GreenbeevintageCo:
https://www.etsy.com/shop/GreenbeevintageCo?ref=l2-about-shopname

She's the seller who restitches in white (mentioned by @houseof999 a while back) over the factory stitching!

This is from the listing you asked about:

Ugh! Here's another example on a Willis.

I thought the white stitching looked wrong on that bag. Why would she do that?

Both are fine.

Hello,
This is my first time on the Purse Form. I have been reading and learning for a year and want to let all the Authenticators on this forum know how much their work and patience means to everyone. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me regarding this listing on the ShopGoodwill, com website. I am also including a better picture of the creed that was sent to me at my request.

Coach Red Leather Saddle Bag, Vintage 9988.
https://www.shopgoodwill.com/item/91233771
Seller: Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania

I'm sorry your first post is going to bring bad news.

If you're the winner, you might want to let them know you want to cancel.

The bag is fake.

Welcome!

Thank you BeenBurned for your expertise and super quick response! It means a lot to me and so does the "Welcome".
I was pretty sure it wasn't real (after the fact, of course), but now I know for sure and can cancel.

Are you able to tell them why you're cancelling? They state that they list "in accordance with shopgoodwill.com's policy prohibiting the sale of counterfeit items." I hope they don't relist it!

With your permission, I will be more than happy to let them know who and how it was authenticated, or in this case NOT authenticated.

Of course!

Some Goodwill online stores use Entrupy and end up selling "authenticated" fakes because Entrupy's AI gets it wrong more frequently than they get it right!

I was also watching this red saddle bag on shopgoodwill. I didn't enter a bid because the auction pics were poor and the price went higher than was comfortable for me.

I am interested to learn that it is fake; here is a similar bag in brown on Etsy with the same style number and I am wondering if it is also fake? I am not interested in buying it but I'm just trying to better learn to spot fakes vs. genuine bags; see link below, TIA!

I'm seeing that you posted the same creed picture for both bags. You didn't post the creed for the court.

I can't tell from that creed picture. It might be okay. It isn't the number that makes it fake, it is the font and spacing, that giant 'o' in No, and the long underline, which is really hard to see in that picture.
