I don't see any problems but newer items aren't my area. I can't find any exactly the same for comparison. It is just embossed. It's a swagger wallet made a few years ago.

Thank you! I can't tell.. is the ear supposed to be hair calf? Mine isn't.
ETA: Also if you know, what year is this from?

I don't know, maybe BeenBurned might.

IETA: Correction: I misread that you were asking about the ear. I believe it's felt though it might be suede. (I don't recall and I no longer have one to check.)

My first pictures are from September 2007 though it may have been out a year or 2.

Link to the listing doesn't work but in looking at the site, it appears that noihsaf.vintage is a venue on which different sellers list their items.

I wasn't able to find the bag you've posted but the pictures you've shown look fine.

Comments: Every time I try to rehab a suede bag in bad shape I regret it, and light colors are the hardest; but I looked the bag up online and found this pic of Drew Barrymore carrying it during Fashion Week - so I figured for only $35 shipped why not give it one more try?!
