Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

This is my first time on the Purse Form. I have been reading and learning for a year and want to let all the Authenticators on this forum know how much their work and patience means to everyone. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me regarding this listing on the ShopGoodwill,com website. I am also including a better picture of the creed that was sent to me at my request.

Thank you BeenBurned for your expertise and super quick response! It means a lot to me and so does the "Welcome".
I was pretty sure it wasn't real (after the fact, of course), but now I know for sure and can cancel.

Are you able to tell them why you're cancelling? They state that they list "in accordance with shopgoodwill.com's policy prohibiting the sale of counterfeit items." I hope they don't relist it!

Of course!

Some Goodwill online stores use Entrupy and end up selling "authenticated" fakes because Entrupy's AI gets it wrong more frequently than they get it right!

The creed and serial number are almost impossible to read, and if the year code is for 2000, I can't find any other example from that year with the same odd spacing between the month and year codes and the plant code, and the plant code is unreadable.

More opinions are needed. Maybe someone else can see something I'm missing.

Rather than straining my eyes trying to decipher anything, perhaps @kistae can request a better creed picture from the seller, Nancy Reed Owner of AuntNannysTreasures.

ETA: I strained my eyes anyway and it wasn't too helpful. (April, 2000 Mexico?) I still don't recommend unless the seller sends a better picture.

The bag in question is fine.
I didn't find any other requests or posts about the seller here but she did (apparently) have a fake removed based on her post here but the listing that was removed isn't the one she claimed.
