Is this fake?

Yes, it's fake.

Interestingly, I have some pictures saved from May, 2016 from seller amanda051987 of the same bag. And more interestingly, amanda051987 is from Virginia as is legendarymint .

I have little doubt this is the same bag and the sellers are one and the same!

Further proof that this bag from LEGENDARYMINT is the same one that AMANDA051987 tried to sell in 2016 is shown in the side by side comp below. All wrinkles and marks on the leather are in the same places.

Interesting that some (if not all) of those bags were previously sold. I wonder why they're for sale again.

Note that if this is one of the bags in that listing, there's a reason for the missing creed. That bag is fake. (Again, I'm not sure whether this is one of the bags in the lot.)

I don't think it is the same bag. I think the navy blue Soho is probably the one missing the creed picture.

I nosed around in her bundles and some of the conversations seemed a bit off, so I didn't buy the lot. Ended up getting a phone wallet from the outlet sale instead. I still want to rehab a bag but I think I'll stick to someone who has a solid rep. Thanks for your help

Hi again,
Could someone please check this Taft bag for me? It's from my pile of thrifted things over the last months :) Finally have the time to rehab some of them haha. I know this is often faked-- in fact my first Taft was a fake from several years ago! I've already cleaned this one up but the clasp is the original one that was on the bag.
Taft Bag, 9980, 13" long x 10" tall x 3 3/4" deep
