Thank you and be safe!

The bag is authentic but the seller has a habit (knowingly or not) of exaggerating the age of items, calling some older items "Bonnie Cashin era" when they're from long after BC's era or "vintage" for items as recent as 2006.

There's also a history of not verifying authenticity. (I don't think it's intentional but still.....)

I had seen some of those questioned items when I did a search here for the seller. It made me willing to verify before the auction ended, despite probably drawing competition to the bag. It was a good experience for me, though, to see how much info is on these pages separate from the Salearea guides. Thank you, BeenBurned.

Good Morning Experts!

Just wanted to authenticate this item:

Seller: edward40hannds
Description: Coach K8D-9966 (Ebay)
listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/153822441516

I am particularly curious about the way the rivet is indented at the top of the attached photo I took at home after I got the purse. See how the indent is squarish? I have another 9966 and the rivet punch on that purse is smooth and round, like a cone. This one just looked odd to me. I didn't know if different factories punch in the rivets differently.

Thank you in advance!

It's authentic, a legacy zip hobo from 1998.

Note that 9966 is highly faked and often, "well faked." It's always a good idea to verify authenticity.
