For further information, please refer to the first post on page 1 of this thread.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:
  • FOR ITEMS LISTED ONLINE:
    Item:
    Listing number:
    Seller and site where listed
    Link:
    Comments:

  • FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ONLINE:
    Item:
    Where purchased or how obtained
    Comments:
BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.
Thank you and be safe!

Thanks I tried, that is the best on the Patricia bag, I could get as the tag is very worn unfortunately.
I will try and get a better photo but due to the wear on it, it is hard to capture a very clear photo.

With darker leathers you can try bringing out a faded serial number by lightly brushing a pale or pearlized eyeshadow or facial powder or highlighter over the creed stamp and wiping off the excess so that there's still a fine layer that's settled inside the stamped numbers and letters. Even talcum or baby powder might work if there's nothing else available. Just be sure to use some kind of powder that can be cleaned off later with a damp cloth.

It looks like D4C-9951? What I can see of the stamping looks ok, but try the powder trick.

Please refer the buyer here.

Note that it's worth whatever effort it takes to get clear creed pictures. The text and serial number MUST be legible! And especially in cases where buyers are questioning authenticity, they're even more important. (I realize in this case, she's also questioning the bags with random (pre-1994) serial numbers, clearly indicating that she needs to learn a bit more about Coach, but in all listings and for all buyers, you need to get good pictures.)

Please post a better picture of this creed. :

Can we see the entire interior pocket, showing the ends of the zipper?

Thank you for your trick, I appreciate it.
I was able to get a better picture of the creeds after work.

The wannabe Patricia is fake. The serial number font is incorrect.

The other 2 are authentic.

As for the buyer accusing you of having fakes, she probably would have thought the only fake was authentic since the style appears to match 9951.

You should end the listing and remove the fake from the lot. It's illegal to sell.

Thank you, I did not know the Patricia was a fake, I had it authenticated years ago on here when I bought it. I would not have bought it otherwise.
I will definitely edit the listing.

I knew you'd said you'd had them authenticated here when you bought them so after you posted the creed picture, I was shocked that anyone would have deemed it authentic. So I searched your posts to see if I could find it.

The only authentication requests you made were in one post asking about 2 listings of scarf print bags (July 5, 2007).

In that post, you said you were referred to TPF by Honest forum so maybe someone on that other forum led you astray.
