Just got this bag: E06S-70010
Photo of the creed attached. Does this number/creed appear genuine?
We need more than just a picture of a creed. Please see the first post of this thread to see what we need. We need to know where you got it. If it was online, we need a link to the online listing and the seller's name. We need multiple photos showing all parts of the item.

I'd avoid Poshmark AND sellers with what seems like too many of the same items at too-good prices. The fakes are just too close and PM isn't dependable if an item turns out to be fake.

EDIT: I knew the seller's name, Hypexvintage - thienngan22 was familiar!

They have to be fakes! The whole thing is sketchy. So glad for this thread and knowledge / hard work the authenticators put in!

Dear Authenticators,
I have some questions regarding the 3 Bonnie Cashin era bags purchased from eBay recently. They all passed the authentication here. I am puzzled by the hardwares used in these 3 bags. The black mini shopper kiss lock is none steel, while the 4 metal feet are steel plated, the black hobo bag all hardwares include dog leash clasp are steel plated, the white double kiss lock bag chain straps are none steel, but 2 kiss locks and 4 bottom feet are steel plated. Is it common for early Coach bag to use steel plated hardwares? Attached are the eBay listings and additional pictures I took. Just would like to know more about these bags, I know sometimes vintage bags are not perfect, but is steel hardware a red flag ? Thank you very much

Understood. I have no idea of any of the answers to the format. I was given this by my mother-in-law during a move. All I know can be conveyed in the pictures. if there are other angles that would be helpful, let me know and i would be happy to provide. Sorry for the lack of information. I am trying to determine if this is a genuine COACH bag. Would taking into my local COACH store be advised?

Thanks for your time!

Welcome to TPF!

Here in the Coach subforum of TPF, we authenticate non-online items but just need to know the source.

Your MIL's bag is authentic and was made in 2006.

There are no problems with the hardware on any of your bags. Very early Coach bags didn't have solid brass hardware like was used in early NYC bags. The type of leather used was also different. The Bs on the sides of the kisslocks indicate the company Coach used to provide that hardware.

Hi all, I bought this Coach a while ago so I can't link to a listing. I'd like to sell it but I cannot find any info about this bag anywhere and want to make sure it's not a knockoff. It appears to be authentic but it's a Coach Leatherware era bag so the creed number doesn't match up to a specific style that I can find. Any help on authenticity and/or a style name would be greatly appreciated!

Item Name: Coach Flap Bag in Aqua
