I think I’ve been bitten by the “vintage bug”!!
Please help authenticate (and identify) this bag:

Seller: ericlehmkuh_0
Item: listed as a court bag (but I don’t think it is from what I have learned on this forum)
Link: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/COACH-VINTAGE-COURT-RED-SHOULDER-SATCHEL-BAG-BRASS/264585517910

Thank you in advance!

Definitely not a Court Bag, but it IS genuine. Without measurements it's really tricky trying to identify it although it might be a style 9535 Saddlery Bag from the mid 1980s.

Thank you, Hyacinth!
I was thinking it might be a Saddlery bag. I already messaged the seller about measurements but have yet to hear back.
Enjoy your weekend!

Thank you to whoever "cleaned" the thread, it was not the usual pleasant forum we all appreciate, plus by now most of us know what sellers to stay away from.
So now that my question won't get lost among the "other stuff", LOL

In my possession, from marketplace.
Item: Dakota Lariat
Size: About 10 x 8.5 x 3.5 inches
Comments: I know that the lack of number in the creed is fine, but I have two concerns... 1) the buckle is stamped as solid brass and I am not sure (I can not find on my notes now) when they stopped stamping the buckles. 2) as pretty obvious to see, the pocket leather doesn't match the rest, is much lighter. I have not see that on any other purses.

It's authentic. These did have solid brass. Classic styles stopped using solid brass much earlier.

Please authenticate- the details seem correct, but the “leather” itself just seems more like pleather than actual leather. Maybe I’m just spoiled by 1941 bags, but this one just seems off- it’s rather stiff and plasticky feeling. I also don’t think this style would be popular/expensive enough to justify faking, but who knows... Thanks!

I'm not sure what you are asking. The lining is made out of pig suede. The back of the flap is just the regular cow suede on the back of the leather.
I am just wondering about the two different colors, I thought that the inside of the flap and the pocket would match... I never had a Dakota before, so maybe is normal..?

It's normal. The inside of the flap matches the leather on the outside of the flap. These purses are lined with pig suede. The pig suede is always beige, no matter what color the purse is.

Will someone take a look at the following bags for authenticity?:

I have attached my own picture of the creed. I cannot get near as clear a photo as the seller did which concerns me.

6: Item: Coach Crescent Bag
Seller: jddowndog
Link:
https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintage-Coach-Crescent-Original-Chocolate-5dc1d79115281275d69c2d56

I’ve attached a clearer photo of the creed

6, and 7 are all authentic.
I'm not questioning authenticity but in the listing from jddowndog shows a different creed/serial number than the bag you received.

This is from the listing:

And this is your picture, definitely a different serial number on a different bag;

Is it possible to get a crystal clear and well-focused straight on picture of the creed?

Is the second "C" in Coach a G? Is the first "C" screwed up? Some of the text also looks very strange.

On the white tag, is the first line N in No. wiggly?
