I have seen "Scarlet" listed as a color for some of the vintage Italian Madison bags, do you know if this one is Scarlet or just "Red"?

Neither. The 1994 red color was called Cherry.

That’s what I was guessing. In your time here on the Forum and with the eBay guides , any contact with anyone who ever spoke with one of the craftsmen? Or employees from the era before the Cahn’s sold the company?

It appears authentic. There was one that looked like this called signature checkbook wallet, style #6058, from 2003, but I imagine they made many wallets that were very similar.

Coach Chelsea 9328 Shoulder Bag British Tan vintage New York City Rare. Condition is Pre-owned. Shipped with USPS Priority mail. vintage cross-body Coach Chelsea Bag in British tan. Natural glove tanned, full-grain cowhide leather with polished brass plated hardware.

The buckle closure is actually a hidden magnetic closure. This bag is comparable to the City Bag in size and is a good alternative to the City Bag.

See stains in photos. No tears or holes. Smoke free home.

I just got her in today (for my birthday) and I was surprised at how well she stood up to the test of time IF she is the real deal and all of my research is right. I still don’t have a name to call her by and I’m pretty sure she is legit, but I’m not the expert. I will upload pics and thanks in advance. Happy Holidays!!!
