Looks good.

The bag is authentic.

I just want to add that with regard to the "rule" you stated, to date, it's only a full signature exterior bag that shouldn't have signature lining. There are several styles of patchwork bags with a variety of exterior patterns including siggy that DO have signature lining. (That Coach rule might change at some point, thus my "to date" reference.)

These are two legitimate examples:

But the entire outside is not the signature print, its a mix.. So that one isn't quite what I was thinking, ya know?

If the outside has a signature print (all over) the inside wont... Or is that not true?

There;s no way to positively authenticate a bag without a creed photo, sorry. But if the seller isn't co-operating with you now when you're a potential buyer, why would she co-operate after the sale if you find out that she's sold you another fake? Did you ever get your money back for the first fake she sold you?
Hi Hyacinth

Thanks,

I should have mentioned that after the first purchase I had decided that I wouldn't buy from this seller again.

Regarding the fake bag that I bought, I had already removed the creed before I saw tPF advise that I could still return it. Since I altered the bag I thought that I couldn't return it. Since the bag was cheap & I will use it, I thought, well this way it never gets resold as the real deal.

So I never reported this; and am realizing now I should have asked for your thoughts about what to do.

Anyhoo, I just started keeping an eye on her, and am now thinking the fake Coach she sold me may not be a one-time mistake on her part.

Not only did another Coach bag come up for sale, I also just noticed that she sold the same bag (with same pics) on Feb 24th:

I'd appreciate any advise about what action I can take now, if any.

Thanks as always!

Why are the "c's" only a single set in the front?
There aren't a single set of Cs. They are cut in half by the stripe. If there is a stripe in the center, the design on each side of the stripe will be symmetrical. If you remove the stripe, and push the sides together, the design will be perfect.

It's not necessarily a red flag that the bag was previously sold. It's very possible that it was a non-paying buyer so the seller relisted.

ETA: As for the bag you purchased in January, you lost the opportunity to file a dispute on ebay but since November, paypal has a 180-day dispute policy and in this case, it's a legitimate reason to take advantage of the long timeframe. (The fact that you defaced the bag may not help in the event of the seller requesting return of the bag but you have nothing to lose by trying to dispute the purchase.)

You might need to obtain a professional authenticity statement if PP requests or requires it but wait until you see how the seller and PP respond to the dispute.

The seller did have a 14-day return policy so had you verified authenticity sooner, you could have returned it without even having a reason.

You're welcome.

Here are two examples. The first is fake. Where the clips are bent over, you can see the back of the plate is dented in. The second is authentic. It is completely flat - no indentations.

Whateve...a little off topic but the authentic pouch is gorgeous. What's it called?

Hi there. I'm pretty much new to the world of Coach, and can mostly be found hanging out on the LV forum. I wondered if you would mind taking a look at this, my first Coach bag. I've ready bought and received it. I think it's authentic but I want to be sure! Thanks so much. :smile1:
