Fortunately this item isn’t up for auction for about 6 days. I just happened to see CatBird’s comment & wanted to post the creed photo I received & hear your thoughts. I already told them the serial number is wrong! I knew it had to be a fake but just in case there was some weird factory error I figured I’d ask. I plan to message them back to let them know this is a fake & Entrupy authentication wrong again. It’s unbelievable that Entrupy doesn’t even bother to look up the serial number! Are any of these types of services any good?

You might also want to include a link to the post I just added to the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers List that we have saved here at tPF in the Saleare Guides thread, there are a few aadditional examples posted of different styles with the same fake serial number:

True as far as things like facial recognition go. But faces don't have style numbers in the serial number that can be checked like Coach handbags can, to see if a Coach made from 1994 to the present at least has the correct style number although that by itself can't prove the aforementioned Coach is genuine. Unfortunately Entrupy's much-touted computer program can't even do that and the humans running the program are equally clueless and can't be bothered to check or maybe don't even know the significance of those serial numbers.

I wonder, what do they do, if anything, about checking the date stampings in LVs?.
I have no idea what the LV authenticators do, but I just recently saw a YouTube video from one of my subs that displayed in detail a genuine LV Neverfull alongside a known fake LV Neverfull... and I (as well as many other commenters) were completely fooled by the fake because it looked better than the real thing, down to the stitching and construction. The serial stamp or whatever it's called in LVworld was slightly different, but only slightly. She was pretty visibly annoyed at how good the fake was. I'm not nearly as familiar with LV as I am with Coach, but that video cemented my belief that I should steer clear of the Neverfulls only because I don't feel they're worth the $$... not when I can build up my vintage Coach collection for a fraction of the cost!

I don't get LV love at all!

Thank you very much. Really this a $20 learning experience. I have a method from restoring vintage shoes I want to try here to clean and reshape it. Being authentic, at least I wont need to destroy it if it cleans up well.
The only thing you have to worry about if there are any holes in the handles. They are stuffed with something that shouldn't get wet because it will make them floppy. Normally you can dunk a bag like this without any problem. Just check the stitching on the handles first.

Yes, genuine Pocket Purse from 1995. Bone was a regular Spring and Summer color for Coach
