Hello ladies! Your help would be much appreciated in authenticating this Bedford bag.
I found it at a 2nd hand store, but I'm not sure about it, especially because of the circular mark near the creed. I've heard that means it's a fake? I've seen it a lot on vintage bags online. Anyway, the approximate measurements (it's hard to be accurate when the purse is all smooshed) are 9" H x 9.5" W x 3" D
The bag is authentic (from 1997) and the mark next to the creed (when on an authentic item) indicates that the bag is a boutique item but was sent to and sold at a Coach outlet.

Whatever guide you read that calls outlet bullets indicative of fake should be a guide you avoid! (The bullet has been faked but it's not commonly seen and certainly doesn't mean a bag is fake!)

Item: Coach Bag Braided Pink/White New With Defects
Listing number: 143389124365
Seller: marova_21
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/143389124365

Comments: My offer of $42 was accepted for this Chalk and Neon Pink Tatum Tall Tote with Light Gold Hardware and Pop Lacing Whiplash. The white tag inside the pocket says "No. A1593 35156".

According to the Wayback Machine this bag was originally released in Spring 2015 for $695, see below.

I believe that it is genuine but I always feel more confident after hearing your opinions and I greatly appreciate your expertise. I have been fooled before, thank you.

Sorry if this was already posted, but might this have been the inspiration for the modern Edie bag?!

Even without seeing the white tag, I believe the bag is fine but a picture would confirm.

What a deal!

See below, sorry! Let me know if you need more pictures, thanks.

"What great deal!"

I know! It was listed as "New with Defects". It doesn't have a sales tag but I believe that it may be new. It has some of the folded paper stuffing inside and also the care instructions card and the little plastic anti-theft device in the pocket. It doesn't look used but it has been handled, maybe it was a store display model?

The only defects I've found are some wrinkles and a few dirty marks on the bag and handles. I hope that I can clean them up a bit but they're not bad. The inside is pristine.

Echoing the great deal comment -- the baseball fan in me loves the stitching! Nice snag!

If they don't clean up, a couple of dots of paint could help.

It’s fine.

The “defects” appear to be so minor!
