Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Dione Bassett and her listings are one of the reasons why I will not be authenticating nor recommending Tradesy as a safe site to buy and sell on.

In the following post (from this past week), I griped about many Tradesy fakes that have not been removed following multiple reports.

This post from August 27 was one of the times I'd reported many listings from Dione Bassett and in fact, the seller was informed of many of the fakes.

I can't recommend the site (Tradesy) or the seller, Dione Bassett .

After reporting a couple of very obvious fakes from this seller, I came across this one.

Was "T" a valid Italian factory in 1996? The hangtag is wrong for the bag (although possibly replaced) and I've never seen a zipper pull break in half.

The other one is fake too. It is very similar to a fake Italy creed I have in my files. Attached are the fake T plant creed and an authentic Italy Sonoma creed. It has an error in the month code and probably was made in January 1996, so a similar time period as the fakes.

ETA: You can prove it is fake because the word distinctive is misspelled.

I suspected (99% sure) that both were fake.

I think you may have posted the wrong creed as the CR one. You posted another with a "T" Italian text.

No, it is just too early for my brain to be functioning. The T Italian is the fake. The T plant code was used for Costa Rica in 1999. All my authentic T codes are Costa Rica. I'll edit my response to avoid more confusion.

Did Coach also use P for Costa Rican bags in 1999? Why use both, I wonder. Two plants?

Yes, P was used to Costa Rica. Also M. The reason is that each plant code represents an actual factory, not a country. So each facility would have a different code.
