Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item
• Back of item
• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Comment: serial number not shown (intentionally?) but creed font and spacing seem questionable. Handle looks wrong, stitching uneven.

It's probably fake, but I don't know if I would report it without seeing the number.

I reported it and included a link to this genuine one and explained how to compare the handle details to the fake:

Comments: dimensions; 9.5" width (at widest), 6" height, 3" depth. In my excitement, I hastily purchased this. Indents on plate on underside of turn lock points to fake, unless the plate is not the original.

Sorry, it's fake. Not just is the turnlock a problem but the way the creed and serial number are stamped is too.

Dione Bassett and her listings are one of the reasons why I will not be authenticating nor recommending Tradesy as a safe site to buy and sell on.

In the following post (from this past week), I griped about many Tradesy fakes that have not been removed following multiple reports.

Omg. I was browsing and posting last night and saw those posts and really wanted to shoot out a warning post, erase them now! But then, he’s been told. Is English not his first language (though I know many ESLers that , well, understand English better than this individual ). I thought, here comes the cap lock key.
