Thanks Narnanz, I am like you. Nothing super great in mtl. But I make visits to NY where I find vintage Coach. Super nice ones. OMG even if it needs TLC. We do not have that where I live.
I going to Italy next year so am hoping to do some searching. Have 2 days at the end of the tour in Rome. Might get lucky.

Dear authenticators! Request to authenticate please. Thank you!
Item: I have no idea. It reminds me of a Regina? But shape is not exactly like the Regina. Crossing my fingers that I did not purchase a fake!
Seller: thrift store.
Link: n/a
Comments: dimensions are 7.5" height, 6" width, 2" depth. Handle drop about 2.5". Strap length is about 49". The creed is in the front slip pocket, not in the main compartment (like the Scooter bags) and was really difficult to get. I took a dozen photos and these were the best ones. Apologies for poor quality photos. Thank you for your time and help!!!
Sweet! Congrats. I see these listed once in a while, in black and they are usually $$$.

It will be interesting to see it under different lighting if anyone here buys it. It could be Jade which was available on the Court only for a short time in 1995, I had a Court Bag in Jade from exactly the same plant, month and year and from what little I remember, the color was a bit darker but basically the same shade, The color looked more like the catalog photo catbird9 posted. It broke my heart to get rid of it but it was just too small for me and the strap was too short. :crybaby:

ETA - I just noticed who the seller is. Not only is she a tPF member but she's sold quite a few bags to Jed at the Archives. Her photos are usually pretty accurate.
I will continue to believe that you have owned , no matter how briefly, one of every vintage Coach style in every color.

Yay!! Thank you!!

Twinning!

Same as the 2 blue stations, back to back. Lol. I'm glad we got them though.

No kidding! That's another gorgeous bag too by the way, congrats! You have the most amazing luck or skill in bag hunting. Maybe a combination of both.

That seems to happen a lot on this forum. Usually there are three. So maybe there is another one out there!
It really is interesting how I see listing of certain bags online in clusters. I have noticed that. But for you both to find duos of unusual shades of the same bag in so short a time, twice . . . *cue theme to “The Twilight Zone”*

I do remember seeing two Duffles in green get bid up like crazy in one week. And vintage reds in the same style often crop up in twos and threes.

So far they've all been D5C- prefixes. If they all turn out to be Jade it must have been a very limited production color made only in one plant and for just a few months. The few 1995 catalogs I have don't even mention Jade as a color option, only Bottle Green, so I hope everyone gets the color they're hoping for.

Bottle Green is the only color listed in the 1995 Spring and Summer catalogs but Coach has sometimes made special colors, sometimes for one of their retail partners. I had a genuine Scribble Stitch Tote with Jade leather trim and even though each Scribble Stitch style came with only one trim color specific to that style, I also found a genuine one on Ebay in a Lime color leather trim that the seller said she'd bought at Macy's.

ETA - Interesting that most of them so far have Outlet stamps. I'm wondering if it was a MFF bag. It's hard to imagine it being brought out as a boutique color.
I have wondered too that there have been limited runs of bags in colors not listed in catalogs. I thought maybe it was due to obtaining leather in the color in a small quantity, unexpected, left over, etc. But you bring to mind a good point it might have been an exclusive for a retail partner too.

Not the smaller ones! Anything Court Bag size or smaller just doesn't work for me. But if it's at least 11 inches wide with an extra long strap, I've probably owned it, at least for a few weeks. If it doesn't give me the room and "drop" that I need, it gets donated.

"Every color" sounds about right though, except for brown and black. When I was a kid and had to carry what my Mom bought, she always bought brown or black because you could wear those colors with everything. Back then, there weren't many color choices anyway. So once I started buying my own bags, I went for colors. My first Coach was a red City Bag Spectator from Marshall Field's.

Item: Bonnie Cashin for Coach Pony Express Sling??
Listing number: n/a
Seller: estate sale purchase
Link: n/a
Comments: I’m not a Coach collector but found this recently at an estate sale and thought it was lovely. I’ve tried researching this bag but can’t find anything exactly like it. I know Bonnie Cashin made a pony express bag but the style is not like this. This looks more like the Cashin Carry Sling bags. I’m thinking it’s early to mid 60’s pre-creed.

I recently purchased a vintage coach court bag. Can it be authenticated. The number on the creed is a little concerning to me . It was purchased at Goodwill. The dimensions are 9 5/8 x 8 1/4 x 3 1/4.
