Hello All! I'm not sure if I should post the following on this thread. Please correct me and direct me to where I should post if not here. Thank you! I have been reading the Salesarea guide trying to find out from which year to which year Coach made their bags in New York City but I am unable to find out any year information. I have a few of these bags with made in NYC on the creed. I understand some people collect exclusively these bags. Thank you in advance for your reply!

It IS in the Salearea Guides, as much as felt comfortable including. Coach made all their bags exclusively in NYC from the time they started making handbags (early 1960s) until 1988 when some production was moved to a second plant which I think was Miami. Production at the NYC plant was gradually phased out until by 1998 what had been their first plant was now their corporate offices. As I said in the Guides, most dates are educated guesses. There's an excellent Coach history here with dates that seem to be accurate and I didn't see the need to cover the same ground, or see the need to drown readers in dates when many of them were guesses and the information in my Guides was already complicated enough:
http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company-histories/coach-inc-history/
Many other "guides" on the internet have incorrect dates that are sometimes off by almost 10 years. The Funding Universe site lists dates connected to Coach's corporate history and is based on business records, but there is not and never has been any official information from Coach about production history and dates INCLUDING plant history, dates or codes. Bags stamped Made in New York City don't include any kind of year codes either.

From the Coach Creeds Guide:
"At first all Coaches were made in the original factory in New York City, and the early creeds say "Made in New York City, U.S.A." on the bottom. When Coach began adding new plants in the late 1980s, the wording at the bottom of the creed was changed starting in 1988 to "Made In The United States". Production at the NYC plant was eventually stopped so that the building could be used as Coach's corporate Headquarters..."

OMG Hyacinth! Thank you so much for your time and information!!! :flowers: I am absolutely amazed by you and the other authenticators' knowledge!!! I fell in love with Coach years ago but only had one until 2 years ago. Now, too many. Thrift shops in New York are totally awesome for Coach!!! But for anyone besides the authenticators reading this post, REALLY be aware if you go there. Sooo many fakes! We have okay thrift in Mtl, but nothing like NY. I have five of city bags and five of a lot of others , so I may start selling my doubles and quadruples. Is it ok with the authenticators if I do start selling, if I am questioned, I can say I got them authenticated here? I am going of the 'authenticate this Coach' subject of thread. Please correct me if I should not ask this here. Thank you!
Oh! and why I sooo love these vintage Coach and I am sure those reading will agree....I used to kill handbags,, I am such a gentle person but not one handbag could live long with me. Broken zippers, straps, etc. So now...with vintage Coach, wore a Prairie for 8 months, still going strong. Wore a Patricia for about 2 months, too heavy and big for me but she survived, wore a Fletcher, still ok. My binocular survived and now I am carrying a legacy Rambler. They all held up! Dunk them and they come back to life!

I don't know much about keychains. Can someone tell me if both keychains are authentic?
Item: keychains
Seller: elizabethj0981
Link: https://posh.mk/ms1sdMtD80
Comment: If I could find a better deal for both I'd buy somewhere else.

The black one looks OK to me, style 93124. Leather Fur Poodle Keyfob
The small one with crystals should be style 92450, but I don't have any clear photos of a genuine one.
You might want to wait for more opinions.

Yes, you can say you got them authenticated here. It wouldn't be enough to use in place of a professional written authentication, but it's probably more accurate.

They're both good (though I'd rather you found them somewhere else too!

Also, does anyone know if those white streaks will come out with a good rehab? Thanks!
I don't think those streaks will come out. I think they are the natural grain of the leather.
