Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read

Are you kidding me!?!?!? I have been sick to my stomach since I bought these bags because they looked suspicious to me once I got home and had time to inspect them. I have so little experience with these much older bags. Ohmygoodness thank you! I can sleep tonight now.

They did use funny "not coach like zippers" on old nyc bags. I have one too.

I'm posting this here as well as on the Poshmark thread on the Ebay subforum.

Because I've been pretty transparent and open in my contempt toward Poshmark for what I believe are good reasons, here's another reason to avoid the site.

I got this message from Lifelock and it included my main email address which was hacked:

That stinks. I hope no permanent problems happen from this. Will Lifelock be watching for suspicious activity? And did they indicate when they thought it happened?

My sincere apologies, Hyacinth! I was actually convinced the last bag wasn't authentic because it seemed so very un-coach-like!

I think the putty-color bag is a Matinee Bag #4126 from around 1993, part of the Manhattan Lightweights Collection from that year. There was a color called Buff that matches your photos.

May I please request an authentication of this (suspender?) bag in my possession? I bought it off of Craigslist today. It measures 11.5W x 2W x 9H, approximately. I'm not comfortable with the zipper pull used on this bag and with the seam over the inside pocket. I think it's fake. Thank you.

I don't think those are problems. The zipper may have been replaced, or that may just have been one of the ways Coach made them back then. But wait for WHATEVE to have a look. I think you have three very interesting bags,

Lifelock comes with our Norton subscription and sends updates when there's "dark web" activity. Last week they found activity from Evite, one of those electronic invitation sites. They're pretty good.

We also have TrueIdentity as a result of the equifax breach. They send monthly updates but didn't find the Poshmark activity.

Maybe the companies look for different types of hacks.

The strange thing is that all the activity found has been on one particular email address (though I have several others) and none on my husband's!

Hope you don’t mind me chiming in. We can add the squared off pull with the diamond to our zipper list! I have two Shoulder bags with the squared off pull with “Wilse” in block letters.

Me too! That orange Courier was re-listed and I bid on it tonight but I was outbid. I hope she found a good home.
