Hi, is this purse authentic?
Item num: 183895004127
Seller ID: theortx
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-CO...004127?hash=item2ad0ff13df:g:KB0AAOSwkZxdNggW
The creed is hard to read, thanks in advance

I've seen enough fakes with 012-3445 as the serial number to recognize the thick font and invalid serial number.

(The number is on Hyacinth's list but if you don't recognize the creed, it's understandable that you wouldn't know what to look up on the fake serial number list.)

And for those who may miss the bag in case ebay pulls the listing, here it is:

And don't forget the misspelling of "scrtches"!

I bought this Coach purse on Poshmark and am having to resell it because it's too small for what I need. I'm slightly concerned because all of the other Coach Sierra bags I'm seeing has the logo plate at the bottom of the purse in letters.
I'm attaching a link to my resell post on Poshmark. I want to make sure it's authentic so I can delete the listing if it's not. All photos are on the listing. Also, the zippers do say YKK.
It's the large Coach Sierra

I figured out, hopefully, how to add pics to this instead of just a link. Hopefully y'all can see these pics. If not, please try the link above. I've researched, and I can't find anything about this oval brass plate on the front of the purse, so I can't tell if it's authentic.

LISTS OF FAKE COACH SERIAL AND STYLE NUMBERS POSTED :happydance:

We just added a copy of the often referred to but seldom seen "Daria48 Coach Fake Numbers List" to our Pinned thread on the Salearea Guides here in the Coach Shopping forum. Daria48 started that list way back around 2006 or 2007 in the old Ebay Shoes Purses and Accessories Forum and has tried to keep it reasonably current since then. It's Post number 37 in the Salearea Guides thread that many of you are already familiar with, and if not, you should be if you're a classic Coach lover.

https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/salearea-guides.983575/page-3#post-33239557

Most of the numbers and information are for older classic and vintage styles and fakes up thru around 2005-06. Numbers in fakes after that became more accurate, but enough Coachies here are interested in vintage and rehab so the information still might be helpful. The lists were at the old Ebay Guides pages but were deleted from both the US and UK sites within the last 18 months and now can only be found using the Wayback Machine or here at tPF. Post here or in that Salearea thread if you have questions or corrections.

In another thread @BeenBurned posted a listing from a seller of a fake bag and pointed out she has other fakes listed. And I realized I bought a bag from this seller just yesterday and did NOT have it authenticated trusting my own pathetic “authenticating skills.” I will take my lashings and hope they can be buffed out with some CPR and blackrocks.

Please authenticate, thank you!

Item: Manor Bag Bottle Green B6C-9977
Seller: Elizabethatopp
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintage-Coach-Manor-Bag-5d18e00cde696a6fbadf4b5e

Comments: I could have sworn I searched for this seller in the thread and didn’t see her mentioned. I have to be done with Poshmark because I found another fake on there today.

Luck was on your side this time, it's a genuine Manor Bag from 1996.

But I'm glad you see why we don't recommend Poshmark.

And why I (personally) won't authenticate listings that are on Poshmark.

It's too bad because not all sellers there are dishonest but between the site doing nothing to help with removals of fakes and sellers who list there knowing that they can unload their carp, everyone suffers.

Dear Authenticators, Would you please authenticate this. Please let me know if you need any other information about the purse. Thank you in advance.

Item: Coach Black Willis Bag
Listing number: This is not an internet listing. It is in my possession.

Comments: Measures approximately 10” wide x 10” high (including dowel).
Number inside reads: L9P-9927
The creed was hard to photograph because the interior is black. So I had to shine a flashlight on it for it for it to be seen. Please let me know if you need additional photos. Hello, everyone! This is my first post on the forum, thank you
For having me here! Please, help me authenticate this coach bag. It is the onyx legacy lock studded in black leather. I just got this on vestiaire collective and it is in a a great shape. The leather feels nice, not too soft, but nice and it looks really well made. The problem is that it has no dust bag, although there is still a small tag inside and if I check the serial number online I only find some Chinese (I guess) gadgets for photo cameras. Also, the zipper inside doesn’t have the letter YKK, although there is something really small written on the front size. Aw, and the care instruction card on the inside is written only in 3 asiatic language (I am ashamed to admit I am not able to recognize any of them). I am a bit worried because this was a huge bargain-I got it for like 42 (around 48 US-Dollar) Euros without authentication fees and shipping. Thank you very much!

PS please excuse my awfully undone nail that appear in some of the pics! :)))
PPS please be Kind, English is not my first language.

Welcome to The Purse Forum!

There are several others that I found when using Google. When searching for a Coach serial number on the internet, you should only search for the name "Coach" and second half of the number, "Coach 26410". Perhaps that is why you couldn't find any. You won't find it at any Coach website because the bag was made 6 years ago, in July 2013, and Coach only shows items on their website that are still available for sale.
https://www.google.com/search?q=coach+leather+26410&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

The brand of zipper can never prove a Coach is authentic, please don't pay attention to those authenticity guides you probably found on the internet, almost every one of them is useless and even dangerous to use. Please read my Signature in purple at the bottom of every post I have made for the reason why. All those guides that say that YKK zippers prove that a Coach is authentic are completely wrong and should be ignored.

Your Coach is genuine and you got it for a great price. Enjoy it!

Yes, that is exactly what I was doing - writing the whole number (worked for my other Coach bag, which just fed my paranoia) and paying attention to every single strange authenticity proving steps on internet. Thank you very much, I will enjoy it! Have a really nice day!
