Meant to ask about this bag that sold awhile back by this seller. Please give me your thoughts on this bag. Thanks.

The color shown in the inside photo is probably the closest to the correct color of the bag and the only pic that actually looks like "steel blue". The serial number is barely visible but what little I can see seems ok, it's one of the classic Willises made in China, this one has what looks like a 2005 or 2006 year code.

FYI, this image is a pretty accurate depiction of the color. I never did learn the "official" name that Coach called the color:

Comments: I did some searches and looked in my catalogs and I can find similar color on newer ones, not one from 1999. (The creed is better when zoomed in, but still not totally clear. If real, I would love to buy this.

Please wait for WHATEVE or BEENBURNED to take a look, my computer usually refuses to enlarge Mercari photos and I can't read the creed. I know Whateve has mentioned a Rambler's Legacy in an unusual blue color so this may be one of those bags. Not all colors made it into the catalogs, and sometimes Coach did outlet-only colors and even special colors for her retail partners like Macy's.

ETA - OK, tried a different browser and now it can Zoom. The problem is that it looks like an E plant code with a United States creed, which is NOT good. If Whateve is around I'd really like her to add her opinion. Here's what I'm seeing:

I can enlarge it by right clicking and selecting view image but it still isn't clear enough. I think I'm seeing a prefix of H9E which doesn't make me comfortable. My unusual colored Rambler's legacy was made in 2005.

Did you get a chance to look at the photo I was able to enlarge?

I think this one falls into that "Scary Good Fake" category.

Now I see it! I couldn't read the United States before.

I see what everyone else is seeing. I wouldn't buy that bag.

I think there may have been 2 different shades. The one I own is definitely more of a Light Denim or Wedgewood, there aren't any aqua tones.

It's authentic. It's a station bag, not a Willis. It was made in 1996.

The creed is pretty clear as far as reading the serial number and being able to see where it was made.

I've enlarged it even more and there's no question that the plant code shows as "E" and the creed shows it as having been made in the US:

The Coach logo is strange too, it looks too small for the cartouche, the letters don't look right, and the logo is off-center.

Does anyone else think she sees indents in the bag from Georgia Girl? I'm seeing something, especially at the top.
