Could someone look at this for me? Thanks so much.

Item: Coach Pebbled Leather Scout Hobo Bag
Listing: 70570266
Seller: goodwill.com
Link: https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/70570266
The Goodwill listing doesn't have enough pictures to authenticate the bag. As per post 1, page 1, 2014-2016 bags with creeds without serial number, there's a white tag hidden inside the bag, probably at the bottom of the zippered pocket that needs to be shown.

Hi all, can you help me authenticate this bag and identify it’s color? I bought it from a Japanese website,it comes with an adjustable strap. the serial number is U5C-9985. Thank you very much!

As it says at the top of every page in this particular forum, we need posters to read Post number One in this thread and follow the instructions including posting the URL of the website from which the item was bought. That includes Japanese websites because recently we have had a FLOOD of fake items especially recent wallet styles being sold by what appears to be a gang of crooks located in Japan. There have also been instances of sellers in Japan repeatedly re-listing fakes of classic and vintage styles after they have been reported through Ebay. We want to see the source of any and all "Coaches" sold through non-USA websites, no exceptions.

The bag may be genuine but we still need the seller information. Thank you.

It doesn't look like it would be any bigger than what the listing says, but I'm not familiar with too many different styles. Do you think it would rehab well?

If it is Beekman, it will be about 16 1/2 inches long. Briefcases are harder to rehab because they are so big and heavy when wet. It looks to be in very good condition so I don't see any problems with the rehab if you can use a briefcase.
I ended up dunking a Beekman in my kitchen sink, it just fit. I dunked it mostly to reshape it as it was already in good condition. It came out well. We can continue this over on the Rehab thread if you have questions.

Sorry about not posting the url.I got that from Mercari, a Japanese site like Poshmark , here is the url:https://item.mercari.com/jp/m196249...505B8Pt9QvSHECZRsM36sJuiVN8ZFM1mdzuQPCugVKJkQ
I rehabbed it so it looks much better than the seller’s photo.
Thanks again!

Comments: I was just reading some back posts and ran across an authentication request for a red willis F13-9927, and It looked familiar, and then I figured out why.

I purchased the bag in this listing H13-9927 and another black/nickel willis off Ebay, which was authentic, but I returned it because of damage to the buckle. I must have gotten them mixed up and accidentally put the "authenticated" tag from the Ebay one on the GW one. I searched my previous posts, and I don't think I got this bag authenticated.

I also search this thread and found another request for a red H13-9927, that was authentic, but the pictures aren't available.

Although the red one in the request below is F13-9927 and mine is H13-9927, they are from the same plant and year, just a couple months apart, is that right? I notice that the 1's and the "No" with the underscore are different. The "coach" at the top of the creed also looks different, but as far as I can see, the font inside the creed looks identical, even the way i'ts all kind of smooshed together. The hardware and construction of the GW bag looks the same compared side by side with an already authenticated (I double checked) black/brass one I have. Im hoping this is a case of the plant using recycled stamps from other plants or something like that, but I'm nervous.

I would love an experts opinion super please and super thank you!

Edit: Im also noticing the tail of the 9's are different and possibly the 2 and 7, but I can't tell if its just the angle of photography, so I dunno...

Here are the creeds for posterity and to save you some clicking.

COACH EDIE 31 Pebbled Blue Leather Floral Studs Shoulder Tote Purse Bag 37700

Listing number: 372696512477
Seller: station_85
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-EDIE...512477?hash=item56c67177dd:g:ziMAAOSwebpdEqMi
Comments: I know, I know, it’s a station_85 bag and I shouldn’t even be considering this listing, but I do like the exterior of the bag, and it’s going for less than 30 bucks right now. They have it listed in “fair” condition with a “heavy perfume odor”, which I’m translating as “absolutely shredded interior” and “we poured 2 bottles of Febreze into the purse and it still reeks of cheap cologne”.

So, with that being said, does anyone think this is actually authentic? They’ve apparently caught on to show the interior tag, but I do think it’s odd there aren’t any pictures of the creed.

Thanks!!

Almost every creed from that plant and year seems to have a few small differences when compared to any other one. We don't make decisions on authenticity based only on creeds and serial numbers. There's a lot of variation in new plants sometimes and Coach may very well have been cobbling together bits and pieces from older or retired stamps, especially serial number stamps. And it wasn't just the "3" plant, other newly opened Chinese plants also show a lot of small differences in 2000 and 2001 during their first year or two of production.

The details of the black Willis in the first link seem OK but I'd like to see the back of the turnlock where the prongs hold that backing plate on.

I think it's genuine a Regina Bag from 1995, the first serial number digit is probably supposed to be a "J". The style number should be 9983 and the strap apparently has been changed, the style came from Coach with a 50-inch thin non-adjustable strap. Color would be either Black or Bottle Green, you're in a better position to decide than I am. That seems like a lot of small differences but the bag still seems OK, but more opinions are welcome.
